Kang Xi :)

I brought mum to the Asian Civilisation Museum yesterday to visit the special exhibition, which is "The Kangxi Emperor: Treasures from the Forbidden City"!

It's like, FINALLY~ I had been planning this visit since ages ago when I first saw the advertisement in the MRT trains!

Here is a portrait of the ever famous Kangxi emperor:

Everything is so fascinasting there, and I felt like I had traveled back in time! It's a pity that we weren't allowed to take pictures. *wails*
Anyway, it was definitely a feast for my eyes. I managed to witness a hand-written scroll written by the emperor himself, and some of his belongings that he had once worn and used before!
His robe was the most majestic-looking of all.

It was a weird sensation for me when viewing all the historical artifacts. I guess the Kangxi emperor himself did not expect that his belongings will be displayed for future peeps like us to see.
I am glad that all the artifacts are still in their tip top conditions. I mean, those are priceless treasures! :D~

I just hope that there will be more exhibitions like this! I love viewing artifacts.
