KTV Session + Public Holiday For MONDAY!
Alrighty, after a loooong period of goodness-knows-how-many-months, I attended a KTV session -but this time, a weekly activity held by a local club. (My first time at Partyworld instead of the usual Kbox I went to!)

And I was- and still am- in a state of shock when I think of how a coincidence can be so freaky. (Is the world really that small? *Gasp*)

Initially, I was "mentally prepared" to go for the KTV session alone without any of my friends' companion.
As it is a social club that I've joined, strangers whom I had met before later became friends. We introduced ourselves to one another, until... ...

*A guy stomped into the KTV lounge*

The leader tried to introduce the guy to me, and I managed a HI, smiling.
Just then, the guy stared at me for a second, and came up to me, saying that he knows me!
I was puzzled, and I asked him -in a disbelief tone- "WHO ARE YOU?!"

He sat down beside me, and it was then that he mentioned about an ex-working place that I'd worked at. (We even used to go for KTV session(s) together, but kind of lost contact after that.)

With everything coming into light, I was in absolute shock at such coincidence, and elated to see him at the same time. (Okay, I admit I did not quite recognise him at first sight since he did not have his glasses on!)

Nevertheless, I'd had fun today... Meeting new people from all walks of life, and best of all, knowing more people that love SINGING!
(Majority of my own circle of friends do not show much interest in singing, which is a sad thing!)

*Yawn* I'm quite drained out now. Looking forward to the upcoming halloween event! =D

P/S: Don't underestimate ang mohs. I was surveying an ang moh for a project yesterday when I marveled at his height. (I had to look UP a few inches in order to communicate with him. LOL) While he was doing the survey, I couldn't help but exclaimed to Ah Chiang (my group mate) that this ang moh is sooo tall.

I almost fainted when the ang moh suddenly replied to me in english, saying "Yeah, I'm very tall, yeah?"

Immediately, I felt VERY embarrassed.. and Ah Chiang said "HUH? You understand ah?"

With a slight nod, the ang moh replied, "Yeah".

Oh my. How I wish the ground would open a hole and eat me up then!

    >_<
Met up with one of my ex secondary school teachers today. (he still look the same!!)
It was pretty embarrassing for him to treat me lunch! Thanks loads. :)
It was hilarious when someone suddenly came up to him and asked about how the food he was eating tasted.
With a stunned look, he asked him to try it himself. HAHA.
The stunned and *blur* look from him is always so priceless. LOL. I almost laughed my head off when he was kind of lost in my neighbourhood, unable to find his way back to his parked car.

Anyway, it was nice meeting him after so many years had passed. I will never thank him enough for the encouragement and advices he constantly gave . (He's one of the reasons I managed to pull through for my O levels!) No matter how other students see you as, you'll always be the best teacher in my heart!
(Secondary school pals who know me well should know which ex-teacher I am referring to. LOL.)

Okay, on another random note AGAIN, I've managed to upload a song that I'd sung yesterday on youtube. Sorry if its soft at the beginning, because I guess its supposed to be? By the way, its one of Rainie's songs from her upcoming album. (Yay-ness! I adore her and her songs! I'm tingling with excitement!)

Sorry if its in bad quality as I did not use a physical microphone to record it, but from my laptop's.

(Just learned this song one day ago. Sorry if there are any error(s) here and there!)

*Ack*, I am suffering from two terrible ulcers right now! (Its been a hassle trying to speak! Gaah!)
Well, probably I derserved it, for having an overly-comsumption of fast/fried food over a past period of 4 days.

(It all started with a Mcspicy meal from Macdonalds', then Shrimpy Cheesy Wrap from Long John Silver, next, the BBQ chicken wings from KFC, carried on by the latest Teriyaki chicken burger from MOS Burger, and FINALLY, Baked Rice + Pizza+Chicken Wing from Pizza Hut.)

(*Oh, in case you are wondering... Nope, I did not gain any weight from those meals.)

I've eaten too much in a row that I've got my desserts. Grrr... No more fried food for the time being! (I can't imagine more ulcers suddenly popping out of nowhere! *Gasp*)

Well, on a random note, my handphone was sent for repair on Monday, and to those who had smsed/called, I'm sorry! Sadly though, my storage of data was erased. OF ALL HORRORS! My pictures, drafts, smses... e--ev-every--thing!

School isn't looking that great to me either. Dragging my heavy feets to school daily isn't something I'm looking forward to. Yeah, I am always - and constantly- whining about school, projects and stuff. I whine so much that I find myself a pain in the neck sometimes.

I had a talk with my dad regarding the withdrawal of course should I retain any module(s) for the next semester. (At the current rate I'm going, I am really worried about my future, and the survival in my current course.)

I admit there's inadequate investments of efforts to some of the previous works I had done, but I really can't see myself putting in effort in doing something I am REALLY uninterested, or rather, not capable in.

(Can you believe it? I got 3 Fs for one of my modules. Yes, the one and only one in my class who had got it. Should I be honoured, or what? I'M FEELING TERRIBLE!)

Is it just me, or am I on a total different frequency with the rest of my classmates? (Why is it that I'm feeling so inferior?!)

Some of my friends think that I am pessimistic, and they're right.

I know my parents will support me in whatever decision or route that I choose to go, and I felt a pang of guilt for disappointing them with my wrong choice of course, which led me to the state I am now. I know that the last thing they'd want to see is my withdrawal from my course, and yet I kept harping on it frequently about withdrawing. Some of my friends may think I am joking when I mentioned about it, but I'm actually not.
Today, I walked past the Admin building, and did a double take when I saw the familiar-yet-unfamiliar (lol) yellow sheet of withdrawal form outside the office.
Don't worry, I will undergo a serious consideration before making any rash decision(s).

I hate to quit my current course, too, especially after having studied/survived for 2 years?! Nevertheless, I will not completely give up hope yet. I hope to do my parents proud too, by obtaining at least a diploma. I just wish I am able to get through and sustain till the final year without retaining.

I will hang on.... for the time being...

Thank You! (Good entries are worth waiting.. Hehehe)
Okay, I'm starting this entry with a BIG smile plastered on my face. =D~ Received some prezzies from Shrek, Ah Dao, Tricia,Chloe and Zhong Hui! (Did I miss anyone out? :P)

(Thanks to Shrek for passing me the prezzies! Xin Ku Ni le!)
I wanted to send a thank-you sms to everyone, but my phone was spoilt today, and I was without my hp for the whole day! Sorry!

Wahweee~ It was really a pleasant surprise when I opened the prezzies. (With uber excitement!)

I had just mentioned I wanted "Food Bags", (especially the Oreo version) some while ago, and now, they had got me as birthday presents! (How sweet is that?!)
I can add them into my "Food Bags" collection now! LOL. (AREN'T THEY CUTE?!)

    Really thanks soooo much!

This "Cup-noodle Bag"was given by Shrek, Ah Dao, Chloe and Tricia.

(See? I had taken it out of the plastic bag as quick as I could when I got home! HAHA!)

Yeah! I couldn't bear to take it out of the nicely-wrapped plastic bag, but I am sure I will be using it as soon as I can!

And Zhong Hui bought another one individually for me! - OREO BAG VERSION! (Muwahaha!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE OREO! And this bag is enough to bring out my personality as a Oreo lover! =p)

Love the bags alot, and now I have a hard time deciding which bag to use! (Hehe)
    Hmm,maybe I should plan a timetable, starting:
    Monday- Oreo Bag.
    Tuesday- Cup Noodle Bag
    Blah blah.

To tell the truth, I had been eyeing these 2 bags some while ago, and was in a dilemna of which to purchase. You guys save my day! LOL.

Sweet, sweet sweet! I actually wanted to take snapshots of myself wearing the bags, but I guess my hand isn't long enough to snap it. =_="
    .
    .
    .
    .

And moving on to another STAR prezzie... ... PROUDLY GIVEN BY:

Shi Yun and Si Ling. (Thanks, Shi Yun, for passing me the prezzie!)

*Shake shake* Eh, what's in it? (Beware! Its FRAGILE!)

    (What a beautiful wrapper! LOL.)

    Imagine my happiness... ....

(Yes! Yes! This is only the top view! HAHA!)

    A "MR BEAN" CUP!
So cool, right?! Look at that expresssion! HAHA.
I was so tempted to open the box to get hold of the cup inside.
    and I DID! TAA-DDAAA!
Cartoon images of Mr Bean all around the cup, including the top! Wowee.. This will be added to my "personal display" now. NO WAY am I going to actually use it!
I'm so touched that you guys had actually went to get something I adore so much. :) Muacks.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank everyone for remembering my birthday, and giving me nice prezzies, especially those that I love so much.
Of course, not forgetting the advanced birthday prezzie that my sis had got for me earlier - F.I.R World Tour Concert. (Remember? HEHE)
And also! My dear Wen for the "Mr Bean" birthday package. HEHE! I am going to take a good snapshot of the package soon!
Overall, I've spent a pretty nice birthday with my friends and family. I'm blessed. :)
And... I know I've said it numerous times....BUT STILL- AGAIN,
    HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SHI YUN!!'

I am glad you like the prezzie we got for you! =D It's a honour for me to have a birth date only one day earlier than you! ^__^ Best friends forever!

    *Woohoo*
    *Updated again at 10.56PM*

In another 3 hours' time, my "special" day is gonna be over. (Gosh, time flies!)

Anyway, I had an enjoyable time today, as every minute and second seemed worthwhile.

I have many friends and families to thank on this special day, not forgetting Chin Seng and Pitrra for being one of the FIRST to wish me a Happy Birthday when the clock struck 12.

I was so super touched when Chin Seng started singing me a birthday song over the phone, with Pitrra and I breaking into laughter afterwards. HAHA.

In any way, THANKS! No worries, your singing isn't bad! :D Haha!
I'm gonna upload some of the prezzies I received, with lots of thanks!

Firstly, Wen had requested her hand drawn drawing not to be uploaded, so I respect that. But I am really touched by the drawing and letter she had for me! (FYI, she had drawn a cartoon version of Mr Bean! Gosh!) Its something priceless, and yet filled with sincerity. Thanks loads! I appreciate it. =D

Afterwhich, she handed me a prezzie from Carrot,

(Oops, pardon me for the quality of the pictures! =P~)

Yups! Its Doraemon! One of my all-time favorites.

Carrot, thanks for the doraemon you had given me. I just want to let you know that I did not blame you for not turning up today. I'm already happy that you remembered my birthday, and even specially got wen to hand me the present.

Yups~ its the thought that counts, and we will have chance to meet up some other time.

(Anyway, I have a feeling that you have a lot weighing on your mind these days... Are you in a state of unhappiness or anything that you need someone to confide in? I'm sorry if I had neglected you in any way, but you'll always have me to share your problems with. Forget me not, okay? Smile!)

Okay, now moving on to my next lovable friend, Satoru... :)

A beautiful necklace full of dangling gemstones, and the gorgeous-looking bottle was a souvenir from Hong Kong! How sweet!~

Yups~ Just to say I absolutely love them~ Thanks so much for accompanying me out for the outing. And just at this time of post, I received an e- birthday card from Satoru!

Thanks for being such a good friend, someone who is always there for me. I appreciate everything you did for me! *touched*

Thanks to wishes from SIS and GORDON!! *Scream* Wen, cousin QiQi and Irene, Si Ling, Seng, Pitrra, Benjamin, shiyun, Satoru, Carrot, Shrek, Zhong Hui, etc.

Hopefully I did not miss anyone out! -D

I indeed had a very special birthday today.

Father ordered Pizza Hut delivery today, (YAYness) and Wen came over! Had lots of fun playing PING PONG with the DS Lite.

*Lol, look at the "disastrous" state of the food*
Updated: Wow, soon after publishing my blog post, Chin Seng called me and told me that he was at my house downstairs! He came specially all the way, and gave me a friendship band, all hand-made by himself! FULL OF SINCERITY. Absolutely priceless. Will keep it close to my heart. Yeah, this friendship band will also mean... FRIENDS FOREVER! =D
    *SEE? NICE RIGHT?! HEHE*

    Happy Birthday To Me! LALALA~
Some of my Nintendo DS games are sooo cute~They remembered my birthday. LOL.

Anyway, today had a great outing (or chit-chat session) with Pitrra. Thanks for accompanying me today, and giving me this HALLOWEENIE TEDDY. LOL. (Psst, the MOS burger was nice! Heh heh)

So cute, right! I just love some of TY beanies, especially the Halloween series! Simply too cute to resist! Heh heh. I am thinking of bringing this halloweenie out for my Escape Halloween celebration with Wen this coming 31st October. (Yeah, just for the atmosphere. LOL)
I can't wait for tomorrow~ A pizza hut delivery! (How I wish birthday girls get a discount or free pizza. *Yeah, dream on*)
Oh no~ I'm turning 19 tomorrow??! Am I kidding myself?! I AM GETTING OLD! *screams and starts searching for wrinkles*
My youth! Oh my~! *opens mouth in an exaggerated manner*

    Woo~ Temptation

Picture credits to the Official Night Safari Website.

Wah, I feel so tempted after receiving an email from omy.sg regarding the Halloween @ Night Safari a few days ago. Unfortunately, free tickets were given to the first 10 lucky chaps who managed to send in their replies fast.
(Yeah, it was too late by the time I sent in mine's. Ahh well, what a pity!)

I researched a lot on the event, and it looks like its super duper fun! (Except that the entrance fee is so high that I think I shall have to give it a miss this year.)

Still, better than nothing, I still have the Halloween event @ Escape Theme Park to look forward to. (and of course, wen will be accompanying me =D)

AHH! I want to go to the Night Safari one badly, too! Hopefully a pair of tickets will rain on my head while walking on the streets. (LOL)

P/S: The school timetable for today was shiok. The feeling of happiness when I am able to go back home and sleep early is... ... =D~

    What's in a "Farewell"?
I am officially out of my job now. (Should I be elated, or sad?)

Anyway, dad brought me to a hair salon for a *minor* haircut and wash after work, and I have to say that I am not really contented/satisfied with the final result. I prefer my previous hair-cut from Malaysia, but due to the distance that I've got to travel (Just for a haircut =_=), I have no choice but to make do with it.

Nonetheless, I kind of love the way my hair smells today, after the wash. (Sounds pervertic, but it will not if you are not thinking in a pervertic way. LOL~)

AND random-ly, I found a news article regarding the ORIGINAL teddy that MR Bean had used in his films, being sold by a museum due to its closure!
Oh my, whoever is the lucky chap to own the ORIGINAL teddy? (by the way, the teddy was donated by Rowan Atkinson!)

    Check it out!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/west_midlands/7606177.stm

    Muwahaha.

P/S: Sometimes I really wonder how the human mind works.

Bye to working, Hello to school life! (Duh)
I believe many of my friends had their last day (working) today.
Well, my final day will be tomorrow, and I was on all smiles to my colleague.

    I sang, I clapped, I smiled, I laughed.

Okay, the reason of my euphoria is definitely NOT because I'm leaving my workplace! (In fact, I feel a sense of reluctance upon the thought of leaving my colleagues.)

However, I'm glad that I managed to FREE myself from someone. It started when he suddenly took the initiative and chatted with me, which lead us to become friends (sort of).

Well, the conversation went fine, or so I thought.

It was not until the later part of our conversation that I realised the way he talked really irked me. (So much for a FIRST BAD impression, huh?)

We had actually got to know each other for one day, and he started spouting non-common sensical stuff.

How much does he know? All I could see daily is his "Mr-Know-It-All" attitude, acting as though he knows a great deal of stuff. If that's a sign of trying to impress me, I would have to say its backfired, BECAUSE IT DISGUSTS ME TO A LARGE (or should I say MAJOR?) EXTENT.

So what if you have wider exposure and knowledge? Different people have different preference(s) and taste(s), which means WHATEVER interests YOU may not be of an interest to ME.
Listen, it does NOT take one who share the same taste(s) as you to be considered successful, get it?

When I first met you, I had already developed a sense of discomfort. The problem lies in your style of talking, the kind of "straightforward-ness" that NOT all people find it acceptable. Straightforward-ness may be good, but going overboard really does put people off. (Maybe some things are better preferred not to say out.)

I may just brush it off if its just a slip of your mouth, but saying the same insult-ive things over and over again is simply pushing my limit.

I don't need YOU to tell me what to do, nor do I need YOU to observe every movement(s) I make. Do you know how stressful it is for me to present myself daily while having a face-to-face chat with you? You make me self-conscious, and I feel every chat with you is equivalent to attending a "lifestyle lesson". Don't you know that the more you are trying to "teach" me, the more insult you are actually giving me?

Okay, I've got to admit that there is little improvement shown on your attitude from the first day I've known you, but I dislike the fact that you are trying to get physical.
I don't mind if you are treating me as a "HEY-WHATS-UP" friend, but please do TAKE NOTE that I am a FEMALE.

I know some friends DO play along with each other physically, beating each other joking-ly, etc.
But I dislike it that YOU are doing it EVERYDAY to me.

Honestly, I HATE people consistently touching my head. Not only that, you always shake me, and even sudden pinching of my nose. I AM NOT IN ANY WAY RELATED TO YOU. ONLY COLLEAGUES. Don't you think there is a certain border that we must maintain?

I'm FINE with that once in a while. BUT on a daily basis? Is that on purpose? EVEN MY LONG-TERM FRIENDS DO NOT DO THAT TO ME!

On top of that, you cannot seem to differentiate what SHOULD and SHOULD NOT be said. This is terrible because you will hurt people's feelings without you yourself knowing it. (On a side note, maybe a brain filtering system can be of help to you.)
Doesn't your brain process the things you talk? Things that you will embarrass your friends?

Please, for goodness sake, observe the sensitivity of the topic before spouting it out of your mouth as though it's your last opportunity to talk!

P/S: I won't be surprised if you are still having a single status few years down the road if you do not start changing. Take it from a lady's point of view and perception of YOU. If you are able to create such a bad impression on me, I believe it will for others, too.
I will never take this kind of guy as a boyfriend, not even in my consideration. Thank god I am only knowing you for short-term. And that's already more than enough.

    OMG! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
OMG~ Do you FEEL it? Do YOU?!

    OH YES! I DO!

In the blink of an eye, the very much awaited festive seasons - Halloween, is just around the corner! *Jumps in excitement*

I just loooveee Halloween, and I'll be celebrating it on the 31st October! (With my wen!)

A few days ago, I still remembered the disgust shown on my colleague's face when she read an article regarding the Halloween tram ride at Night Safari, along with the picture of a "ghost" (obviously a human in disguise) cradling a "baby" in her arms.

"EEYER! Siao one! Pay money to get scared out of your own wits!"

    She exclaimed, grimacing.

Her reaction was so hilarious that I couldn't help myself laughing.

Heh Heh... To me, I feel that THAT is the FUN part of it.

Yes. The scare. (Imagine the HORROR!)

October is one of my favorite months of the year (not forgetting its also the month of my birthday, of course! Tee Hee Hee!)

    The sad part:

As time passes (day by day, minute by minute) , my working days are numbered. As much as I dread the reopening of school, I'd still have to face it. After free-ing my mind from school stuff for nearly a month plus, I'd have to admit my brain is now prone to more laziness. (Okay, I WAS lazy, but now I am LAZI-ER. You get the picture, huh?)

I was questioned by a colleague whether I prefer school life to working life better, or vice versa? This, I believe, have no definite answer... because...

When you are working, you will tend to look back and ENVY those students who are still undergoing education.

    WHEREAS... ...

On the other hand, when you are studying, you will tend to LOOK FORWARD to a new lease of life - Working in the society (Yes, you can't wait to start finding a job and earn some income right away!)

Well, that's how the human mind works.

P/S: A late update about the Mr. Bean movie broadcast on 1st October, 2008. Credits to Wen for taking this precious photograph, in which mr bean's face appeared in almost all of the TV sets! Heh heh, a priceless moment.

    (Psst..Isn't my Rowan handsome? *daydreams*)

    Thank You, Satoru! ^_^

Look at what Satoru had drawn for me! *blushes* Really appreciate the time and effort you had invested in creating this OC for me. *hugs*

You are truly a great talent who is able to accomplish lots of difficult drawings!
*saves the OC into my computer and thumbdrive*

I believe your talent will gain recognition one day, no worries! =D

Everyone, do visit his direct link page at: http://sst0o0.deviantart.com/art/Kitty-s-OC-98745214 and browse through his sketches! Hehe.

You'll always have my support always!

P/S: Ohhh! I dread the reopening of school. Fancy that-having to go back to what I'd been facing during school days. Looks like good things really DO have to come to an end.
And tomorrow will be the registration for GEMS module, I'm so gonna take up Drama Appreciation!

    Fascinating....I love BEAN!!

Oh my goodness gracious! Today while hanging out with wen, we happened to walk past a shop... in which over 10 televisions are showing the face(s) of... ... ROWAN! (* dances around in a dreamy state*)

I still doubted Wen when she told me Mr Bean was on TV, until I really saw it with my own eyes! Wahaha..
Okay, they are broadcasting an old movie of him, which I had watched 2 times before. (I think?)

Nevertheless, it was a nice feeling watching it again, especially its in public.. (With passer-bys saying "Mr Bean! Mr Bean!" when Rowan's face appeared. Heh heh. My idol is famous! =P )

Believe it or not, we stayed and watched the movie throughout! (Except that we didn't get to watch the front parts of the movie.. aww)

After that, we went around and shopped for quite some time. Of course, not forgetting that we managed to challenge each other in battles and fights with our DS lites.
Yes, the DS lite is one of the best purchases ever. Some games are just too good to resist, regardless of the difficulty levels that I had to go through!

    And lastly..
A Happy Hari Raya to all! And erm, Happy Children's Day to me! =P
