    WOW WOW WOW...
    Wow, wow, wow!

    Guess what?!?!?!

When I awoke this morning, I realized that ALL of my chicken pox were gone MIRACULOUSLY! Poof! Gone just like that! *snaps fingers*
Its like modern magic! Woohoo! It's the happiest day of my life. I've never felt so relieved before. This is a dream coming true.

    *ramble*
    *ramble*
    *ramble*

Ahh well... alright... It's April's Fool after all. Can't I live in delusion just for a day? ~Chey~

*blinks a few times and walks off*

P/S: Happy Belated XX Birthday to you, SIS! I love you... See ya soon!

Okay, I can see that my blog is collecting dust now.

I wonder if I will still be able to return work on the specified date. (Yeah, my supervisor wanted me to visit the doctor again for an approval to prove that I am totally free from the illness before allowing me to step back into the company. =_=)

I am trying hard to make the best out of my time during the 11 days quarantine. Being quarantined has its advantages, too. (Since I am a stay-home girl)

I train on my electronic keyboard almost daily, (like 9-10 hours?) just so that I can play one of my favorite music pieces. Yeah, I know... I'm crazy. Haha.

I visit Youtube on my desktop and laptop and watch everything that I like.

Yeah yeah. Having chicken pox has its "pros and cons". It's amazing how I never seem to yawn or feel sleepy since the day I contracted the pox. I feel energetic and... robotic. It's kind of weird though. And my appetite is growing, too. I feel super uber famished yesterday midnight that I got myself to sleep just so I can forget all about the hunger.

And the best thing is that I manage to shed off some "fats" or chubbiness from my face. (Although I am certain they will strike back again when I start eating all kinds of junkies after my recovery. =_=)

I miss all my fried and fast food, which I can't even lay my finger on. And all the dark spots on my face now. I just WISH that I can wake up and find them gone the next morning. Sometimes looking into the mirror is distressing, especially with all the marks that were not there before.

Oh, by the way... I am now in the midst of writing my own story. Well, you know me. Its a story that concerns the supernatural. Not gonna reveal so much now though. Wait till I finish it! (Which is goodness-knows-when.)

Alright, I am going to work on it now. I just hope I will recover well during my next update. And not forgetting to thank all my friends for their heartwarming messages and tags! And someone's herbal tea and stuff that got me all better. Thank you all! *hugs and kisses*

    Tuesday, March 24, 2009

Update: I've contracted chicken pox. I'm really living in misery as I've never got it before. Darn, I can't even go work! My doctor was alarmed when I told him I still wanted to work today. Having this terrible illness at this time is purely bad luck. I had to go through the hassle of contacting my lecturer, supervisor and even agent.
Yeah, I feel that its better off dead to be living with this kind of itch all around me. In fact, its getting so severe that I feel as though there are a thousand ulcers in both my mouth and tongue. I'm breaking down.

Nevertheless, thanks to everyone who has shown such great concern and support, be it emotionally or physically. Really appreciate it. I =)

Sunday's entry: (Yes, I got the chicken pox after on this day itself.)

Worn contact lenses for the first time ever in my life today for the sake of a personal photoshoot. (Thanks to Gera, the hairstylist a.k.a optimetrist) She inserted both into my eyes for less than 5 minutes. And honestly, it stung a little when the lenses first came into contact with my eyes. (However, the stinging sensation only lasted for a few seconds.) There was a time when the one of the lenses actually slided down my eyeball, and I got a bit freaked out by that. (You can't blame me though. I know nuts about contact lenses... And the next thing I knew, they were in my eyes. Haha.)

Me in happier times: (and no, I don't look like that anymore, thanks to the chicken pox)

Gera did a good job on the hair and I LOOVVEE the curls! (She even cut my fringe into bangs!) Oh yeah, I was supposed to be a "doll" today. As usual, C.T did all the makeup. One of the photographers kept saying that I still looked human (which I'm not supposed to) after all the heavy makeup in the attempt of turning me into a "doll".

And the end result? I turned into a corpse bride. =.=

The pictures were not taken nicely as all are self-shots!
    *That's a real flower*

Camwhored at Adlin's house after the shoot. This hairstyle was later modified by Adlin into a "bridal style", which I like a lot, too. :)

Updating this entry upset me a little. I want to regain back my normal self again. Fast.

Not updating for the time being
Will not be updating for the time being because I am very sick. I will continue blogging when I get better.
I really hope it will not turn out to be dengue fever. (I had checked the symptoms, and the results are not favorable.)

    I'm terrified.

    Wish me luck.

    Failed my modules
UN-surprisingly, I flunked two of my modules from school.
Its either STAY or QUIT now since there's a need for me to retain. But what's holding me back was that I'm stuck in the middle, aimless.

Even if I continue, I don't think I will be able to score in those 2 sickening modules which I'd flunked. (I really dislike the modules to a large extent.)

As much as I detest them, I can't do anything about it anyway.

Everything is destined. I just pray hard I have a future ahead of me. It seems like a dark alley now.
I can only feel freedom when I see myself graduating from this #*$&($ course.

What do I live for now? I need a purpose in life! Seeing everyone with their dreams and how realistically-and potentially-they are pursuing them makes me green with envy. (Seriously, if a time machine DOES exist, I would love to go back in time and SMACK myself hard for not being serious in life.)

It's always good to have potential in whatever you are dreaming for. =)

Wish me luck. I'll be fine.

    Chloe's Birthday Celebration
Oops, this is such a delayed post! But it's better late than never!

    Yes, presenting you...

Chloe's 21st Birthday Celebration! (Oops, sorry! Did I just reveal something that I shouldn't? *winks)

*Just a candid shot of Shrekies - Chloe and Tricia*

For the first time ever in my life, I stepped into Just Acia to have a sumptuous dinner with the Shrekies last Saturday. Thanks for the introduction to this fabulous place, for I would never have known its existence. *sheepish look*

The service, ambiance and food are better than I expected. With a price of $14.90, I am able to enjoy a yummy set meal which consists of my all-time favorite, Unagi!

*Rice, miso soup and kimchi included.*

That's not all! What I like most about their place is the UNLIMITED flow of drinks, and ice-creams that come in assorted flavors! (It's a pity I did not manage to snap a quick picture of my ice-cream.)
Weeeelll, who in the world can resist unlimited flows? (Well, definitely not me!)

Just something additional to share - Shrek's Salmon set.

Stop salivating there! ~_~ Yeah, I know. Its delicious.

Its been a while since we last met up, and I had fun chatting with them. But the most important thing is to see that Chloe enjoyed her birthday. =)
I will definitely miss you guys when you are off on the trip to Da Lian. Remember to meet up soon for the last time before setting off!

And on a random note, I snapped some pictures this morning while on my way to work. I was greeted with a B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L sight, with the full blossom of unknown pink flowers on the trees.
As time passes, the flowers dropped and scattered all over on the large open ground, producing an unbelievable sight of nature art.

Somehow, it reminded me of the infamous Japan's Sakura.

A captivating sight, just near the neighborhood.

Don't you think they are lovely? I can't help but do a double take whenever I walk past those trees. Its something that will make any pink lovers squeal in delight.

MAY be updating an entry tomorrow about something funny that happened to me at work. Stay tuned! ;-)~

    Pei Wen's birthday celebration.. (Yippee!)

Yay, so we went to watch one of the latest- and first- 3D horror movie at Suntec yesterday. The effects were fantastic and had me glued to the chair in excitement!
Although majority of the movie were filled with gore, naked (YES, you heard right. NAKED) and bloody scenes, it still left my jaw hanging in amazement.

Being a more "special" movie than any other normal ones, we were given 3D glasses at the entrance before the show started. And having those glasses on simply creates instant magic right before your very eyes!

That's one thing I absolutely L-O-V-E about 3D. It makes one feels involved in it, and everything was so surreal that it looked as though they're right in front of you. The resolution was so crystal clear to the extent that one can even see the veins of the actor's eyes during close-up shots! Sounds exaggerating, but its true!

Alright, but not as exaggerating as this pic though =_=: (The fire doesn't really blow out from the screen like this!)

    Seeing is definitely believing!

This movie was rated M-18, but whether or not its worth the price of $13 depends on how an individual sees it.

If you have a knack or up to some bloody gore "fun", My Bloody Valentine-3D will be a movie you won't want to miss.

(And when I mean bloody, it means you must be readily prepared for scenes of intestines, heart and human organs being dug out in the most cruel way possible.)

However, I would like to apologise to Yun and Ling for their wastage of money. They found the movie so incredibly disgusting that they took off their 3D glasses and refused to watch it. Yun even had her face covered with a piece of tissue paper. (Sorry, I din know this movie will be disturbing for the both of you!)

Personally, I find that the price is considered worth it for a 3-D experience. I mean, how often do you get a chance to watch a horror 3D film on the big screens, especially one containing REAL actors and actresses? I am not a regular or "cinema-goer", but I don't mind paying a higher price for the "excitement". The feeling of knowing something unexpected will happen -but you don't know what- is just so mind-gripping! I love it best when the knife or whatever weapon the character is throwing feels as though its COMING for you. Just when you are trying to "duck" and shield youself from the attacker, you will realise that you are not really hit.

Admittedly, the effects and ambiance yesterday was not as good as the one we had seen at the Singapore Discovery Centre. Well, but it was not bad either! Its more exciting than normal 2D movies, and will have you lusting for more!

And yeah, its not called "My Bloody Valentine" for nothing.

Anyway, I am glad that Wen did enjoy her birthday celebration and presents we had given. We had such a nice time chatting our time away. (We chat more than we shop!) We got so engrossed in "twilight talk" that we couldn't stop speaking the lines from the movie.

And before I end my post for today, (I had to attend Chloe's birthday celebration later on), let me ask Wen one last question:

"How long have you been 17?"
    =p

Happy Birthday to my beloved WEN!
Yes, YOU are officially 20 years old.

YOU - and no one else. Lim Pei Wen! XD

I know girls tend to hate the digits "20" when they reach 20, but I am still going to say it.

20, 20, 20 and 20! (HAHAHA!) Alright, she's so gonna scold me tomorrow! =X But well, who doesn't reach the age of 20? I will be joining her soon in the month of October anyway! (and come to think of it, I dread that day, too. I'd rather freeze my age at 19!)

As a small surprise virtual gift for her, I made and sent her 2 "posters" ONCE the clock struck 12am yesterday. (I had been counting down!) The original size of the image is in A3, and that makes it a poster if you have it printed out! But I am only giving the original size to her and no one else! :) Hope you like it, wen! =)

Poster 1: (Specially coated the background with light shades of purple as its her all-time favorite color)

Poster 2: Portrait (looks quite plain, though!)

In case anyone is wondering who that guy is in the above pictures, well...
Its just her idol, Jerry Yan! (I am helping her to promote her idol.. in a sense. Haha) Wen just could not get enough of him! *chuckles*

And yes, welcome to my world, Wen.
You are officially a newborn. (You know, I know. *smiles*)

    Happy 20th BIRTHDAY!

    Toiling myself away...
Time seems to fly in a breeze - just in the blink of an eye! I could be enjoying my weekends - slacking at home- this very second, and before I knew it, its another weekend again!

Well, this means that I will be aging faster, too =_=" *screams*

Nevertheless, the "boring" old me is back to snap random- and crappy- photos again during my work time.

I was randomly taking pictures - toying with the flash function- of my hands, and almost got a shock at the results.

Seriously, its interesting how the pictures and reality contrast. *shudders*

Oh my gosh. I hope it doesn't look like a dead person's hand. It looks even whiter and pale from my phone screen. I remembered being ticked off a few times by my doctor when I had no sign of bloodstream on my palm-which is a bad thing.

*looks at my palm and gasped in horror*

I hope I don't get another chance to visit that same doctor again!

    Talent House Studio!
Went to Talent House Costumes (the place where Shrek is currently working at) to view some costumes (and getting inspirations at the same time) for future personal shoots.
Thanks to Shrek for meeting me early in the morning and bringing me to the shop. It was a fantastic sight when I stepped into it.

I just looove some of the costumes, (especially the PINK bunny girl and dracula) displayed! (How I wish I can nab all of em' home and stuff them into my closet as MY personal collection! XD)

Seeing that no one was around to watch on us, Shrek asked me to try out some of the interesting stuff on my HEAD. Haha.
Ahh~ Look at my hair! Its all around in places! Haha..But HEY, it was FUN! =D~

Photographs taken in courtesy of SHREK!

Apologies for not uploading the other 2 pictures because I think I look kinda unglam in them! =P But nevertheless, I have got to say that SHREK is fortunate to be working in such an amazing place! If it were me, I would've spent my free time trying out each and every costume EVERYDAY! =p

Okay, and here is something that Shrek will be looking forward to me saying:

    " I MISS YOU "!

And I think I really do, especially with you going to Da Lian soon. We are going to have a "last meeting" before your trip, and fret not, I shall treasure the chance to SHREK you like nobody's business! (Since I won't be around to shrek you anymore when you're gone. Sobs.)

TAKE CARE, OKAY! AND I AM ORDERING YOU TO TAKE CARE! HAHA. Have a safe trip, and buy lots of goodies back for me OKAY! I want all of the most delicious food from China. (Okay, joking)

    =)...

*breaks down into tears* I want my SHREK!! *wails*

P/S: Finally met up with my dearest Wen yesterday after Shrek's meeting. Thanks for all the fun and laughter! Haha. Life will never be the same without your presence in my life! (Okay, why am I sounding so cheesy all of a sudden?)
Your birthday is just around the corner, and MEET UP FOR OUR BLOODY VALENTINE 3-D MOVIE! And oh, by the way, did I tell you that the price of the ticket is the same as your birthday? =P`

    The Marathon

Okay, I sort of forced myself to have this book read due to the time constraint I'm facing from my school library.
(I'd estimated, and had figured out that I only have a limited time span of 2 weeks PER book! ("New Moon" and "Breaking Dawn") And with books THAT thick, its seemingly impossible...)

I gotta admit I scanned through a few pages (just like in a "fast forward" mode. Haha).
Though the story is indeed captivating in some parts, but it just made me lose interest in the main female character,"Bella Swan".

Constantly indulged in such distress, she sure was emotionally challenged. BUT come on! She certainly has an indescribable attitude problem. (Its a fortunate thing that the story and characters are fictional. Honestly, I will actually mind a friend like that! Judging on my ever-so-hot temper, I think I may just scream Bella's head off and shake her till she's knocked back to her senses! GRRR.)

All her world revolve around that vampire guy, Edward Cullen. And all she could think of is him. In fact, its becoming so much of an obsession that I think she is just being fanatic.

Okay, I think I will just deem it as a draggy romance. Its weird how she always manages to escape from the clutches of death- even when she's so NEAR!

Nonetheless- story aside- I'm full of admiration for Stephanie Meyer's writing style and skills. She can write in such flow that you can actually visualize the story in your head - easily. Not only that, I am amazed by her cleverly used descriptive words to "create" certain scenarios in the story. Its just plain... WOW.

Riight, as much as I love vampiric stuff and such, I don't think I will be a fan of Twilight. But of course, its worth a read! ;-)

I may be catching the latest new vampire movie, "LET THE RIGHT ONE IN", with my loves during Wen's birthday celebration. If you are a fan of vampire movies too, do catch it in theaters now! Here is the wikipedia link that contains the summary of the movie:

More about my personal life tomorrow!

    Work, work, work... ...
Woohoo... For the FIRST time in such a long while, I managed to have a fruitful sleep yesterday night. And guess what? Of all things, I dreamt about FOOD! I remembered I was buying food from a place that seemed to be a canteen in my dreamland... ... *swoons*

Okay, enough about dreaming. I'm jerking back to the reality world now! Gonna update some stuff from last Sunday, in which I had fun at C.T's (my makeup artist) house.

Since we were preparing for some upcoming project, I had a trial makeup session prior to the shoot. I shan't disclose much information about it YET, but I have to say its a challenging one!

    And YEAH! Photos time!

Look at these sequin patterns!! Very nice, right? C.T made them - her very own hand-made shawl! She is able to customize shawls, too. If any of you need her service, do let me know!

This is another pretty sewn shawl, and she gave it to me as a gift! How nice and generous of her! I will always treasure this pretty little thing. =) Thanks yeah!

    The happy me:

Tried taking a photo of myself from C.T's large mirror while waiting for her.

C.T helped took take a LOT, a LOT and A LOT of photos using my handphone, but I realized that there's a problem with the brightness contrast without flash. Hence, I decided not to upload them anymore.

And last but not least... ...

*This was taken when I reached home, and getting thirsty... ...*

Okay, before you start questioning, yes... They are my fangs for sucking your throats dry. Too bad I can't go around in public and expose them for fear that I might be sent to the police or asylum! Shall save it for Halloween, then.

    *Roar*

    And one update about today:

Toblerone from the I.T manager. She had "scolded" me not to eat all of them at one go should I fall sick, and for fear of getting scolded by my supervisor! Haha. =p~

Anyway, saw a bloody picture on the morning newspapers during work. Made me kinda uncomfortable ... in a way. AHH. Yeah. It was disturbing as it caused an instant thirst.

*Starts gulping down a bottle of barley drink hastily*
