I had a fun day today! WHEE~
So, this shall be a happy entry!
I met up with Wen today to attend the shokudo event organised by OMY. And we were almost late because we forgot to alight at the correct MRT station! *cries*
Okay, I shan't blog about the event first because there will be a FULL ENTRY dedicated to it soon! Stay tuned! ;)
Anyway, after the event... ... we decided to go on a "journey to the west". That means... we shall walk wherever our legs take us! AND WE WALKED ALL THE WAY FROM SOMERSET TO PLAZA SINGAPURA! Trust me, THE JOURNEY WAS GREAT!
Firstly, we managed to shop at random shopping centres along our way. When we finally reached Plaza Singapura, we decided to stop by at 7-11 to get SLURPEE to quench our thirst. (Yes, we planned to continue our journey with the drinks in our hand.)
Just when we entered, a lady stopped us and asked if we had time to do a survey regarding two of the drinks at 7-11. We were to give ratings for the aroma, flavor and after-taste of the drinks. And as a "reward", the cup of drinks that were being sold at 7-11 were given to us! FREE!
And I shall help them to advertise. (Each cup is selling at $1.20 each, with choc and mocha flavor.) Personally, I have never drink them before, and I think they taste great!
After getting our free drinks, we walked past an event booth. It was Xinya- the "lion of kindness"! (that's what I called it.) We went to pledge our kindness and the staff took pictures of us, and gave the digital prints to us... FREE!

Both Wen and I had also taken a picture together, but the print was with her. (I shall wait till she scans and sends it to me!)
As a complimentary token, we were each given a cool book that consists of Singaporean Kindness stories, and even a cute orange card-holder!
In joyious moods, both of us proceeded to another booth, which was the Singapore Housing Development Board. The staff invited us to play a game (similar to snake and ladder), and we had fun throwing the dice. I managed to win the game (hehe).
Nevertheless, both Wen and I were also given a complimentary keychain by them! It was a nice metallic one. =)
As we walked around, a man came forward and invited us to get free tattoos! (It was tattooed onto your skin with an airbrush, and can be washed off later.) Though there were a variety of nice designs to choose from, Wen told me she did not want any as her mum may scold her when she gets home. As for me, I knew I would not bear to wash away the nice design. Thus, both of us did not accept the offer. (Its a pity though!)
And as we walked further, we were given free candyfloss! (WAHAHA! All free stuff coming to us at one go!) However, free as they may be, please support the Singapore Kindness Movement and pledge your kindness here!

The organisation had all done a great job in promoting the kindness act, and I sincerely thank each and every one of them for all the free stuff and memorable moments. I really love the kindness lion, and I can't get enough of him!
As we went around to see if there's any more stuff for us to participate in, I spotted this cool-looking police motorcycle. AND CLIMBED ONTO IT! (Wahaha!)
(Alright, I actually wanted to SIT on it, but I was wearing a dress. =_=" This will have to do then.) I know I look like an events promoter here, trying to promote the motorcycle. =_=" BUT SEE THE WORD "POLICE" imprinted on it HUH?! HAHA.
And oh yeah, before I forget, we saw this talented artist drawing on the large canvas. They are actually real passerbys' faces, and they were actually willing to sit down and have their portraits drawn on it! (Initially, I was still tricked into thinking that the drawings were printed! OMG, how talented can he be?!)
After the booth event, we ahead with our journey and WENT INTO a 3-STORY HIGH "This Fashion" outlet! They are having a MAJOR sale, up to 70% and some of the apparels at HALF PRICE!
Both Wen and I were amazed! Carefully, we strolled the 3 levels, and managed to find apparels that we like very much! We went into the dressing rooms and I had a fun time cam-whoring away! =D~
I bought the above dress for less than $20, and another pinkish shorts for less than $6! Thanks to my thick-skinness that I asked a random lady queueing in front of us for her membership card. (With the membership card, there will be DISCOUNTS and DISCOUNTS! Whee~)
For your info, that wasn't my finger. It belongs to the cheeky Wen who kept distubing my "camwhoring session".
Woo la la~ I love today! Everything went great and well. I just hope nothing bad will happen during these few days in exchange for my enjoyment today. ~_~ I said that because it always happens! *cries*
Nonetheless, just a little update about a themed photoshoot I did with my team before my chickenpox!
The model in this photo is my team-mate, Adlin! (I was inside the room having makeup by the makeup artist, C.T.) My makeup process was the slowest amongst them as it was quite a disaster. Fortuntately, everything turned out well eventually.
Gera the hairstylist did my hair, and I ABSOLUTELY love the hairstyle! Pardon me for the stuck-out tongue. I was just monkeying around and this is not the actual photo for the shoot!
AND PLEASE DON'T SUSPECT THAT ITS FAKE WIG/HAIR. (Because some people gave comments like this.) ITS MY REAL HAIR!!!!
Both Gera and me took a lot of hilarious photos together. We were actually enjoying it! HEHE.
