    Goodbye, 2008... Welcome 2009
    *sniff sniff*

The time passes incredibly, and unbelievingly FAST. I could still remember every bit of moment I'd spent during last year's 2008 countdown.

    This year is no different.

I will be at the Boon Lay Countdown 2009 again! =D (In fact, this has become a kind of "tradition" for me.) There will be fireworks, (WHEE!) and some artistes' appearances (Some of the members from Jack Neo's Team, and two from the little nyonya serial.)

Today shall be the last entry of 2008, so I must treasure it!

Let me reminisce n' reflect some of the times/emotions I'd experienced/took place in year 2008. (Not in any specific order)

    1) Started to develop the urge of quitting my course.

    2) Made some new friends, which I appreciated a lot!

    3) Modelling photoshoots

    4) Being involved in a drama project for the first time in my life. (Thanks to Tony* for the opportunity)

    5) Erm... Grew a liking for Mr. Bean? (and obsessed)

    6) Strong urge to achieve my dreams... ...

    7) Being closer to my friends than ever.

    8) Submitted lots of resumes to many companies, but never did get a reply back. =_="

    9) Fell down at Lakeside MRT station.

    10) Watched my first vampire movie in cinema. ^^

    11) Celebrated Halloween by scaring people without the use of any mask and costume. (Bravo!) LOL.

    12) Getting locked in the toilet- and asking for help- for the first time in my life.

    13) An opportunity to get the tickets for NDP 2008, and attending it with SHREK.

    14) Started my online business at Midnight Orders, selling beauty products.

    15) Joined a group of strangers for a karaoke session. =.=

    16) Getting squeezed to a pulp by crazy fans, and almost suffocated.

    17) Went to Escape Theme Park for the first time in my life. (Don't laugh! Its true!!)

    18) Got my first Nintendo DS Lite, and having the same color as Pei Wen.

Gahh... Just some of the memories. I do hope that Year 2009 will be a better one! May there be world peace!

Gosh, look at the time now! I'm going to rush out and start queueing up for the Goodie Bag.

But before I go, I would like to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR! ^__^ Thank you to each and every of my friend for being part of my life, and making it worthwhile. I love you all!

    )#(*$)#)*$(

In a blink of an eye, Year 2008 is coming to an end tomorrow... ...
And PRESTO! It shall be the start of a brand new year, but I will still be leading the same, or even more tedious, school life. =_="

Right, I think I'm in love in ranting about my school work. So much that its gonna pollute my blog some day.

Guess what, I just received a piece of information from my friends about our internship application. We were told that the deadline will be on Friday, and should we fail to find a company to intern at, we shall face the fate of "remaining in school" and "receive no pay".

Honestly, I was super pissed when I heard that. Which school/course in Singapore that I know of has such ridiculous nonsense?

I have friends who study in the same institution as me (only different courses), and the treatment they received is just like everyone else. Basically, they will be "assigned" a company to attach to, without facing any risk of "remaining in school" and "receive no pay". No, they don't have such things.

To whoever the management is for my Design school, can't you just freaking assign us ANY company, just like everyone else? Months ago, we were told that if we couldn't find any company, we will be assigned to any company-be it good or bad-.

RIGHT. I'm fine with that! I used to hate working in the sales line, but I DON'T freaking MIND now! Just bring em' on! Just assign me anything, OKAY? *desperate plea*

BUT why the sudden change now? Telling us to remain in school during the internship period, while those who just happen to be lucky enough to find a company-"happily interning" away?

Look, we do not expect it to turn out this way either. Its not as though we did not TRY to source for one. WE DID.

In fact, I had sent to over 10 companies, and RESPONSE IS POOR! So poor that some just refuse to reply (maybe even worse, marking my e-mail as JUNK...Well, who knows?)

We can't help it if the companies are not willing to hire us, right? Do we really need to resort to banging on their doors, and kneeling down to beg for a position?
Furthermore, it is widely known that the economy is in a crisis now! Please don't bear the thinking that finding a job is as easy as reciting the A-B-C song.

I'm sorry about this entry, but it just IRKS me. Asking us to remain in school during a supposingly internship period sounds more like a threat to me.

Morever, I am studying in a newly established course, which is more of a "Rojak" course. A bit of interior design here, a bit of graphic design there, and a bit of product design here.

I believe all those big bosses out there will prefer students who specialise in a specific area, instead of having a "mixed" one, in which we only have limited knowledge and skills. Don't you think so?!

I really wanted to remain in this course, but its leading me nowhere. Friends who know me well have understood my plight, and that I'm suffering in it.
School is NO LONGER something that I look forward to, but am ONLY attending for the sake of it.

Overall, I feel like a human without "soul" when I step into my classroom. Everyday, I lead the life of surfing the net, daydreaming, singing and chatting from the start of morning... Till the dismissal time of my lessons. In my current world, there isn't such thing as homework, projects, assignments and such. Ask me if I have done my homework, and I will give you a bright smile, with a capital "NO".

Blah, I'd sidetracked. My actual main point of this entry is to RANT and VENT my frustration on the internship thingy. I've been telling almost everyone that I am prepared to wash the toilets, giving free labor, or help in pouring coffees. That's just how desperate I am.

YES. EXPERIENCE PRODUCT DESIGN. I'M DRIVEN MAD. Studying in this course can't secure me a future job at all! And to those students who are currently in other courses, PLEASE be contented and blessed in your current state. You will never understand how I yearn to be in a course which I am able to love, and have a passion for. I yearn to find someone who can really communicate with me on the same frequency. I'm lazy, but I know I'm lazy for a reason.I need the MOTIVATION to work harder, but I'm sorry to say that I don't feel any in EXPERIENCE PRODUCT DESIGN!

Maybe I should put it this way: Studying in a course that I really dislike, is equivalent to marrying a guy which I have no total interest for.

I don't care if you are my lecturer, the management, OR EVEN THE PRINCIPAL. Just get it clear that I'm not happy with whatever I do in my course, and one of my greatest wishes in life is to realise and accomplish MY DESIRED DREAMS! And one thing for sure, its not gonna be anything to do with PRODUCT DESIGN!

(Relax... Catherine... Relax.. *Ahem* I'm fine now. Thanks to Satoru for the stress breadou ball. This is the time when it comes in handy :)

Stuck inside toilet -What an unlucky day!
Wow, my analytics of readership suddenly arose yesterday, which I guess is probably due to the "Little Nyonya" entry.

Nevertheless, there's another incident for me to blog about. In fact, I am typing this in school. (Yeah, did I mention that today was my first day of school? GAH!)

And I encountered an incident which I would NEVER expected to happen. ( I did imagine the scene before, but happening in reality is... ...)

Note: The below picture is for illustration purpose only.

Goodness gracious, I was LOCKED inside the toilet!
No, it wasn't a prank. I went to the toilet alone (in school), and the door refused to budge when I unlocked it. I pulled, I pushed, and even attempted to use my legs. Anxious, I grabbed at the hook and pulled with all my might.

No. It still refused to budge.

I was overwhelmed with terror, but yet, I was still trying to save myself from embarrassment from not seeking help from some girls who were inside the toilet. (I thought of climbing out from the top if I could, but it was too high!)

Instead, I found my phone (Lucky me! I brought my phone along to toilet!), and smsed SHREK. I was so anxious that I called her immediately without giving her time to reply my message.
When she did not pick up the call, I called Tricia (SHREK no 2), and requested her to hand over the phone to SHREK. Fortunately, I was told that SHREK was on her way to rescue me.

I knocked on the door when I heard her coming, and she gave the door a hard push from the outside. To me relief, it opened!
(Yes, the door could only be opened from the outside, and not inside.)

SHREK tested the door, and yes, we confirmed that there was something wrong with the door.

I was soooo afraid and relieved at the same time! I really couldn't imagine being stuck in the toilet for long! It was a terrifying experience! (I hope I have not developed a "toilet phobia" after today).

I have SHREK and myself to thank for.

Thanks to myself for bringing along my mobile phone, in which sometimes I don't.
Thanks to SHREK for saving half of my life and face by coming to my rescue.

FOR FEMALES WHO ARE STUDYING IN SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC, YOU ARE ADVISED TO NOT USE THE TOILET NEAR FOOD COURT 1! If you do, ask a friend along... ...
You know you will not want to end up like me.

GAHH! What an unlucky day for a "first day of school"!

    Utter disgust at ridiculous humans!
By the time this entry was typed, my anger had already subsided a little (maybe it would have been more effective if this was posted yesterday instead. LOL).

Yes, what angered and DISGUSTED me was this "Little Nyonya"(Xiao Niang Re) event that was held at Compass Point yesterday.

EVERYTHING, including the chaotic scene and overwhelming crowd were SIMPLY beyond my worst imagination. (Speaking of nightmares! Argh.)

Initially, all of us were a bit reluctant to go for the event, but HEY! It was one of my best buds, Si Ling's birthday, and we had planned on going there for an experience.

Not to mention that we reached there quite early (around 11am plus), and the event was supposed to commence at 3pm! Speaking of loyal fans, they were indeed there (and I even read from a blog that the first person had reached and waited since 9am in the morning!)
I am really appalled at the "loyalty" of certain fans... I wonder how do they have such seemingly unlimited patience?

Pei Wen and Si Ling started making their way to join the queue, and I was a bit shocked at first. I was telling them, "Huh?! Are we going to start getting in the queue now?!".
(Pardon me, as I have never been to this kinda event before. I hate super human CROWDS!)

But they'd told me we won't be able to get the opportunity to get into it when the crowd starts flowing in.

Fortunately for us, we brought our games to entertain us during the wait. The fans who were lined in the front even had their banners, posters and don't-know-what ready. (OMG)

Well, I know that there's a saying that goes "The early bird gets the worm.", but in our CASE, this is not true at all! When we got there, we were told that ONLY the first 100 lucky people will get the limited posters, and an opportunity to go onstage for autographs.

Right, spot-on. We had overheard from a security guard that our line was within the lucky 100. The three of us were pleased and held hopes that we will get the opportunity.

But little did we know that some crazy humans have the slightest cheek to cut queues, and deprived us from our "lucky 100". Can't they understand that for every single person who cut the queue in front, people at the back who had arrived earlier will be affected?!

And as expected, there was chaos when the posters were given out. People refused to cooperate, and kept wanting to have their way. They cannot even listen to BASIC instructions and make peace. A girl at the back was hopping and stretching her hands for the limited poster. =_=" It was such a hateful sight. Why should the poster be given to her when she arrived later than others? Those earlier ones did not even get the posters, and hers was out of the question!

However, to my bewilderment, I witnessed the lady (who was giving out the posters), HANDING her one of it. Yes, that irritating girl was jumping and squealing for joy. But her happiness did not last long. She got into a small quarrel with one of the staff in the end, and had to give back the posters to the rightful ones in front. Ha, serves her right! (Yeah, she still had the cheek to give sulky and annoyed faces!)

I strongly recommend the organisers to ISSUE queue numbers to those who arrive early, and inform those who are not within the limited queue. With the numbers, one will not be able to cheat his/her way through as I believe the queue numbers will do justice to those early birds.

This, at least, will prevent a less chaotic scene, and also ensure fairness to everyone. Can't they see how some senseless people cut to the chase and sneaked their way infront? Why do these people often get their way, and those who abide by rules are the one losing out in the end?

Not only that, if they were really intending to give out only 100 limited posters, why wait till there's a crowd? They should've given out one-by-one to those who arrive, on a "while stocks last" basis. It should be expectant that there will be a loss of control when there's a crowd, and people tend to make use of a chaotic scene to "have their way".

Sadly to say, it was still not over. More chaos occurred when the actresses and actors came into view. And that's when Singaporeans show their "true colors" and flaunt their KIASU-NESS.

Fancy that! All those pushing and squeezing... It kills! I am not exaggerating, but I was almost suffocating in the crowd. I wanted to get out, but I couldn't. I was blocked in all directions, and squeezed to a pulp. People around me were going HAYWIRE, and trying to reach out their hands, trying to take pictures of the cast. Selfish-ness appeared in each individual, not sparing a single thought for the elderly and young children who were trapped in the crowd, too. (SAFETY FIRST!)

Yes, and poor us, after waiting for sooo many hours, we lose out to those who came even later than us. I was so infuriated that I wanted to get out of the "human war" scene A.S.A.P, and I was so delighted to squeeze my way through when I saw the opportunity.

It was so horrific that I promised myself NOT to ever go for this kinda event again. It was a first BAD experience. Some humans are simply selfish, thoughtless and inconsiderate. They know its wrong to push and FORCE their way through, and yet they are doing it, JUST TO CATCH A GLIMPSE of the celebrities?

There was EVEN this scene I saw (right in front of me), when a girl managed to catch a glimpse of Jeanette Aw, and was exclaiming excitedly, "HEY! HEY! I SAW JEANETTE AW LEH!! HAHAHA HAHAHA! YAY!"

And started describing to her friend about what Jeanette was doing at that point of time. =_="

Like us, celebrities are only HUMANS who have the talent and opportunities to PERFORM on the screens. What's with all those squeals and screams and waving?! Do you think they will even notice your existence? I don't think they will appreciate all that, either!

    *shakes head in disgust*

I read in some blogs that Jeanette Aw almost lost her balance and fell into the crowd. Fortunately, her manager managed to pull her back in time, and prevented the unexpected horrors from happening. The stage tiles even cracked, and even escalators stopped operating. (I witnessed the escalators, too.) Yes, the Nyonya show was a blast, but the event they held was posing the crowd in danger! (An auntie even vomitted in front.)

Both Si Ling and Pei Wen were infuriated, too, and we promised with all our hearts that we won't be participating in this kind of event again, regardless of which mega-star coming to town. (Not even our idols!)
We are not those "fan girls", and I think admiring and watching our idols' shows/movies at our free will and time is enough.

I understand it had been a tough one for Si Ling, especially it was her birthday yesterday. She had complained that she had wasted 4 hours of her "birthday time" waiting.
(We did not expect the Nyonya event to turn out like that.)
We were given tokens of appreciation for our long wait, which is a notepad - (Peranakan museum)

Anyway, I would still like to wish Si Ling a Happy Birthday (despite the unhappiness caused yesterday.) We hope you like the present we gave you, and lets take it that yesterday was a day for gathering. (I indeed had fun chatting with the both of you. It has been a long time since I met up with Si Ling afterall! =D) And I will be looking forward to watching "The Hair" movie!

ON A HAPPIER NOTE, I met up with Satoru and those dedicated photographers after the chaotic Nyonya event, and I was so touched when Satoru gave me gifts, despite that Christmas was over.

The Breadou Donut! :D Yes! I tried placing this on a table and managed to trick some photographers into believing this was my DINNER. Wahaha. It looks and feels irrisistibly REAL! (Ahh, the softness.)

As this also acts as a "stress ball", Satoru had told me that he had given this to me in the hope that I can vent my frustration and stress on it if ever there's a need to. That's very sweet and thoughtful of him (as I am commonly stressed).

On top of that, he even gave me a Christmas card, with long-written text in it. (Of course I am not posting that up in my blog!) But there was something he drew in the card that had me going "OOH" and "AHH" over it.

Okie, I know its kinda blur, but I guess it shall have to do. Yes, its MR BEAN! So cute, right?! *starts shedding tears due to overwhelming happiness*

Thank you very much, Satoru, for making me feel so blessed. I feel great to have a friend like you, and sincerely appreciate everything you'd done for me. (There are too many to name! XD) Thank you for the presents, thank you for your patience, thank you for the friendship... and lastly, THANK YOU for everything! I'm sorry I hadn't gotten you anything as it was kinda unexpected.

And I thank-you too, for giving me yet another surprise before going back home... which was the "fossil stone" that you'd cracked with your mom.

Yes, there's crystals in it, and we'd hit the jackpot! I'm happy for you that we had chosen the right fossil. :D This goes to show that you will be blessed! I'm going to treasure everything as much as you will treasure them.
A "thank you" is never enough. :) I'm touched. Really.

    Merry Christmas! Hohoho!

Hohoho, Merry Christmas to all who read, or chance upon my blog. Hope everyone has had a joyous Christmas this year!

As for me, I had finally changed my handphone. It was an ABRUPT change, and it wasn't expectant. It was due to my former Sony Ericsson (OH GOSH!) phone being spoilt, thus I wasn't able to send/reply smses to some of my friends. Sincere apologies!
I really DO NOT understand what is up with Sony Ericsson phones. Its not that I am finding fault with the brand, but it has been giving me problems during my usage.

My dad had been to the servicing centre for numerous times, and to the extent when he complained to the staff. Yes, the phone kept JAMMING, unable to send out smses (no matter how hard I tried to), and had a problem of switching ON and OFF automatically.
This problem had been so constant that I could no longer tolerate it.

And the Sony Ericsson staff told my dad that if this happens again (meaning the unable-to-send-out-sms part), it may be due to my operator's fault. (STARHUB)

Gosh, pushing the blame to Starhub? *rolls eyes*
If Starhub is really the root to the sms error, then I suppose the same error will occur on EVERY phone. I tried placing the sim card into a NOKIA phone, and yes, it works! I was -and still am- able to send out my smses, without even the slightest problem. And this proves it. It has got nothing to do with Starhub. Duh.

Now that the warranty is over, I am NOT gonna renew it, which costs $40+. I would rather use back my old phones or change into any phone that is at least usable. Now that I've got it, I am happily using a NOKIA phone now. It may not be as elegant as my former one, but at least its problems-free, for now.

Thanks to my dad for exchanging this phone with me, with another Samsung phone that I had. I had did a mini research on Sony Ericsson phones, and a few of my friends had encountered similar problems with me, too. (Constant hanging, auto on/off, etc) I am not sure if its the system or what, but I do hope that there will be improvements in time to come. Its the 2nd time I use Sony Ericsson phones, and I am sorry to say that I would prefer either Samsung (My favorite) or Nokia.

I am SOO gonna get a Samsung phone when my 2 year contract's up. Hrmph.

Anyway, enough of my rantings on phones. I went out with my sweethearts today, strolling around the "enlarged" Jurong Point, and practically walked the whole of the mall, exploring every shop that came into view. (Okay, not ALL. I'm just exaggerating. HAHA!)

As it was the festive season of Christmas, and a pre-advance celebration of Si Ling's birthday, we went to Pizza Hut! (Yummy)
We ordered the crispy TRIO-CHEESE topping, and yes... the smell and flavor was simply overwhelming. Sorry that I did not have the photos with me yet, as Pei Wen took them using her camera. =p

And guess what, there was a cute CHERRY on top of the pizza, and an idea struck me.. Thus, I did this: (Okay, its gonna be embarrassing, so pardon me.)

Does that drop you an idea or strike a familiarisation? That's up to you to find out yourself. XD HAHA. I was just trying to be..... funny. =_="

Robert Pattinson's Hair (ITS AN OBSESSION! LOL!!)
Okay, I know the movie "Twilight" is one of the "IN" craze now, with almost everyone I know-rushing to the theatres to catch it.

Ahh, as a major vampire fan myself, (and repeated times being called a "Vampire freak"), how could I simply miss out this movie?

Honestly though, I've never heard of the oh-so-famous Stephanie Meyer's Twilight Saga before, until Shi Yun told me about it -months ago.
She was fascinated with the story and highly recommended me to read it, and I did not even realise its a book about vampires! (The title being "Twilight" does not ring a bell to me that its connected to vampires. LOL)

Well... .... I managed to catch the movie (for free) in the end, and read the book (which is borrowed from my school library).
While the librarian was processing my request for the reservation of the book, a short convo took place.

Librarian: Isn't this the movie that are in the theatres now?
    Me: ... Yeah...
Librarian: So, have you watched it?
    Me: ... Yeah...
    Librarian: Nice or not?
    Me: ... Uhh...Quite boring, leh.

Okay, hush. I can imagine the twilight fans scolding me as I made that sentence.
BUT... BUT... Personally, I feel that the storyline is a bit draggy. (Especially the parts when Edward and Bella kept giving each other " the cold shoulder".)
It was like, "I want to know more about him, but yet not."

But other than that, the male lead actor, Robert Pattinson, is definitely a handsome chap. I guess just him alone can make the movie worth watching. (I had seen his videos on youtube, and zillions of fangirls were -- and still are -- gushing over the charm in him.

Most of them were like, YELLING, "BITE ME! EDWARD! BITE ME!"

Ok, so thats him as Edward Cullen. I love the pale make-up effects on his face. *swoon* It's a pity that such a handsome "vampire" does not have fangs, though! He will definitely look fantastic with fangs. *drifts off into my lalelo dreamland*

    BUT GUESS WHAT?!

I have been laughing my head off for a few days now, because there was a hot topic about Robert Pattinson and his HAIR!
YES, I practically laughed so hard till my head smacked on my pillow, and tears were almost rolling.
And it has came to my mother's attention that I'm a bit crazy, but I really couldn't help it! Okay, I guess it ISN'T that funny, but somehow it tickles my humor bone. I have been sustaining the urge to break out in laughter whenever I see Robert Pattinson's videos now.

    Here's why:
I heard that Robert did not wash his hair for 6 weeks, and whenever there's an interview of him, there will be scenes when his hair look as though he "just got out of bed". I searched for the videos, and his hair was STANDING as though they have a life of its own. It was amazing! (and hilarious at the same time, sorry =X)

(It may not be funny to people who did not do research on his HAIR, but trust me, if you do follow his interviews closely like I did, you will know what I mean.)

    Here's something:

Yes, it has also been a talk of the town about his hair. I had a fun time laughing, just by reading the comments those fans gave. They were obsessed with his hair, so much so that it has become a "trademark" for Robert. They were calling it the "Sexy hair".

And yes, he has the habit of touching his hair almost everytime. (Except when he was playing the role of Edward Cullen, when he had neat hair. It must had been a tough time for him, not able to touch it while in character. =X)

Yes, I am into the "hair obsession" thingy too. (Although his hair really is of no concern to me) I have been mentioning about his hair for kazillionth times to Pei Wen and mum, and laughing at the interviews when his hair "shot" up in all directions.

Here's one of the videos that got me cracking up:

Some of the fans were like "What's up with his HAIR?!"

And another, in which the interviewer asked him "Did you wash your hair today?"
(I remembered there was even a video when a female interviewer sat far away from him when she heard that he hadn't washed his hair for weeks. Gosh. Classic.)

I am really amazed by this guy, he is the first celebrity I've heard of that is so down-to-earth, without caring much about his image. I mean, he can just appear for interviews without much outlook preparations! (which I like! =D)

Yes, just google: Robert + Pattinson + Hair

I am really sorry, Robert Pattinson, I am not mocking at you (really), but just blogging about how much laughter and entertainment your hair has given me. Seriously, I laughed more than I watch MR BEAN!

Don't worry, you are still handsome as Edward Cullen. (and the HAIR too.) Oh gosh, here I go again. When can I stop talking about HAIR?! Somebody stop me please.

    Latest update:
He has finally cut his hair. Neat, uh? I think he looks different! I guess people like me should stop talking about his hair for a moment now. XD But I heard it will grow back by the time he films "New Moon".
    (The "Twilight" sequel.)

P/S: Pei Wen told me she is interested to watch "Twilight". Okay, I don't mind watching it for a second time, especially this time in the CINEMA, but there is no guarantee that I am able to control my laughter. People may think I am nuts if I start laughing hysterically throughout a VAMPIRE movie. (when I am actually looking at the hair.) I think audience may even start a popcorn war on my face.

    One more week?!!
Gosh, school is reopening in another week's time? *horrified stare*
I can't imagine I have been slacking through all these weeks of holiday! (But I like it! =P Alright, I'm contradicting here. *roll eyes*)

Why, oh why, does it have to be soo soon? I guess 3 weeks of holiday is definitely NOT enough for me. Come on, just give us another one more week! Time flies in a blink of an eye! Gahh.

Anyway, I went to collect the photographs from a photographer yesterday night. Well, some of the photographs... ... are beyond words. (In a bad way). Especially the close-ups! I can't believe my face is sooo fat, or is it chubby?! *screams for help* I am not going to post them up, though! =p

Well, credits to Ericnsky and Stefen for the photos. (I have resized the photos as the original ones are quite large. Hence there will be some pixellations, etc. Apologies!)

    Theme: Formal/Office Wear!

I'm the QUEEN of buildings! ROAR! =_=

    Fancy some pole dancing?

Finally... ... The new female version of KING KONG. ROAR.

Okay, I don't really fancy wearing the "manager jacket"... I personally feel it doesn't suit me.

Last but not least, a final photograph with the photographers + Special guest appearance by Satoru =p! (Eric, my main photographer, is not in the picture. He's the cameraman)

Got tons more, but not going to post all. Anyway, thanks once again to Satoru for the constant companion for my photoshoots. I am going to invite you again if there are future ones! =p

    Sunday, December 21, 2008
Yesterday was FUN. Satoru invited me over to his house for a game of WII! Yes! "Virtual Tennis"! Thanks for the experience. It was the first time I tried using it, and am amazed at how advanced the technology really is. (Sorry for sounding like a mountain tortise over here. ^^)

Well, but before that, both of us went to crack a "fossil stone", which Satoru had bought from the Science Centre trip weeks ago. It was said that if we are lucky enough, there will be hidden crystals inside! AND YES, we tried our luck, (after using two tools and knocking it like a caveman would) and... ... AND... I think there are discoveries! =D~

See the small "dot" admist the patterns? Its our first crystal discovery.

Okay, on a second look, I realised that it looks like an ordinary stone from the pictures. Duh...=_=" Never mind. At least we tried our best. Thank you, Satoru!
I had an enjoyable time, and hope that I will be able to beat you soon in our next game of TENNIS! >8D! *evil laugh* =X
(Something happened yesterday, too, which made my heart pressure rose to an "inhumanly" extent. But glad that everything's cleared now... For the time being... ...)
Alright, I shall update more on some photoshoot pictures tomorrow (I am uploading them now. Its gonna take awhile.) Grr.

OH! I am SO in love with this guy/animal.

His name is Chief, and he is my *ahem* potential boyfriend - in a game called ANIMAL CROSSING.

    ... ... *speechless for a few minutes*... ...

Alright, I surrender. He's one of the characters from my all-time favorite game in my DS LITE. Has anyone tried playing this before? I would call it a "reality game",though!
I mean, its such an unique -one of a kind- game that updates DAILY, and even has places to "shop", paying mortgages, decorating and customising own virtual house, chatting with characters, and BEST OF ALL, inviting your friends (If you friend(s) play this too!) to your town and play together- using wireless connection!

The most amazing part is that everything operates in REAL-TIME, and whatever the time and day is in our real world, it will be the same, too! It rains, snows, and even has it own sunny days.
Of course, there are even irritating times when you encounter friendly/unfriendly animals living in the town. Some are simply rude (which pisses me off), and some are just SWEET! :) Ahh, well. It depends on the different townfolk(s) that move in.

:) Gosh, I'm now an addict!

Normally, I am not always fond of the animals, but Chief is different! Sadly, he moved out of my town weeks ago, and TO PEI WEN'S TOWN! *wails*
I only get to visit him when I meet Pei Wen, and I will spend the longest time chatting with him. *blushes*
I hope he remains in her town forever!

Yeah, Pei Wen is playing this fascinating game with me, and we had tons of fun and laughter.

Ahh, for anyone who hasn't tried it, PLEASE DO!
It may seem like a boring-nothing-much-to-do game at first, but the interest will grow gradually! :)

They are even out in WII version!
    Check them out! Wahaha.
Don't be mistaken though, I am not paid by them to do this "advertisement". =P

    Finally!
Weets! Finally, I am able to upload my photos with my camera USB cable! (Solely used for my camera only.)

Had the first and biggest T.F.C.D photoshoot with Westshooterz today, and gosh, was it fun! Its a pleasure getting to know some friendly photographers from there.

I woke up extremely early around 6 plus , and met with the organiser and his wife, together with another guy who looks like MR KOH!! (I smsed him and reported him of my sighting! Wahaha)

Okay, enough said... I shall upload some photos I took myself (not from the actual shoot) with makeup on.

    Credits:
    Makeup and nails - Siti
Hairstyling - Gera (Gera also became our "model" at the later part of the shoot. She has potential! HAHA.)

I know I don't look like myself after the makeup! Even my mum was asking me "Who is this in the photo?!"

and I screamed, "ITS ME LAAAA!"

A sneak peek of my outlook for the actual shoot: (with the male model, Hariz!) I think I don't look good here, but well... ...thats the only photo I took with him. (Psst, this guy is known to have a radiant smile! =D)

    THATS ALL!

I will only be uploading the actual pictures after I have gotten the photos from the photographers. (I am both worried and looking forward to how the pictures will turn out!) Because I have slight problems with smiling, it somehow affected my portrayal of self-confidence in the photos. But nevertheless, I hope to pick up more skills along the way.

A big thank-you to all organisers, photographers, makeup artist and hairstylist for the hard work and efforts! (Especially the guy who looks like MR KOH, thank you for bringing me water here and there. YOU ARE CUTE! HAHA! OOPS =X)
Hope there will be more opportunities in future to work together again.

And this below photograph is a promise to Pei Wen: (She was so anxious to see my nail art!)

Its my first time letting people *bling* up my nails. I like the red color, it has a slight glitter to it!

This was also done by the MUA, Siti. She's so multi-talented! And the nail art was actually not done through the professional way. Siti is still in the progress of learning, and I see the potential in her!

Okay, I'm darn sleepy. Gonna SLEEP now. (Can you believe I actually slept with my makeup and hairdo STILL ON?! AAH!!)

Anyway, I will be going to start work this coming Wednesday sooon!! At Singapore Polytechnic school library. Hahaha. Should I remove away my nail art? I'm so afraid they will reject me once they see my nails. >< AND I STILL CAN'T FIND ANY COMPANIES FOR MY INTERNSHIP YET! SHEESH! I AM SO INFURIATED! AHHH!

    NAIL ART GALORE!!
Today is the first time I tried out a nail art session with the make-up artist, Siti. =D
I wanted to upload the photos, but again, my SD card slot is spoilt. (Duh!)

Gotta wake up super uber early tomorrow -6.00am- for a photoshoot (I'm so nervous! *trembling*).

I will try to think of ways to upload more pictures tomorrow and blog about it! (*yawn*)

    Till then, stay tuned! ;)

P/S: I will be having a new business site up within these few days! Do support! =P

    ... ...
I realised my blog was covered with cobwebs, and am here to clear em'.
I have nothing to blog about recently, as I'm living in my happy-go-lucky world. (Its holiday time!)

Finally, the loong awaited... SCHOOL HOLIDAYS! *smiles*
But I'm not feeling exactly happy. Why?

I guess I have a lot of pending projects, and many to worry about.
    For instance, my internship application.
Every single minute is crucial, as the deadline is just around the corner. I have a bad feeling about it. What if I get to work as a cashier, or even a sales promoter (which I dislike)?

I am imagining the unimaginable. Please, don't let that happen to me. I rather get assigned to an admin job!
Furthermore, I feel that applications for the internship is unfair! I've heard from people around me that having a large social circle with lots of contacts play a part in a successful application.

    WHAT IS THIS?!

So it means those without lots of "social contacts" shall be the losers, and have to walk the extra mile to get a job? (And those with better lives get to shake their legs and have jobs coming their way- as easy as 1,2,3?!)

I guess I shall have to resign to the reality of life. Things have not been going that smoothly for me these days. I can't help feeling demoralised from obstacles. I feel something weighing on my mind, but I couldn't seem to describe the reason why.

I am unable to update my entry for the Science Centre trip for the time being, as my SD card slot was spoilt! I can't upload my pictures! (To worsen the situation, I had lost my USB cable as well!)

    *WAILS*

    I NEED A MIRACLE!

P/S: I had made something for Pei Wen a few days back. I wanted to send this to you, but I did not see you online for the past week. Guess you were busy studying for your exams, eh? Anyway, this is something I had made-for you- Hope you like it. =)

    Journalism Talk

    Woohoo... ...

I skipped school today to attend a journslism talk, organised by the Singapore Press Holdings - at Swissotel the Stamford!

    *excited*

It was so much of a coincidence that this talk was organised. (I was desperately searching in google and yahoo sites for information about journalism, days before the advertisement popped up.)

Filled with anxiety and enthusiasm, I signed up for the talk, and made the sacrifice of having a one-day absence record in school. Ahh, I simply cannot miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! And at least, I have no regrets. :)

The talk was an interesting one, with the reporters telling us their experiences and how life is like being a journalist. Each of them has an unique way of presenting, and they're funny!

It was the first time I paid so much attention to a presentation talk.

Heh heh, and the best part was... ...

The GOODIE BAG and buffet! =p

(My dad had told me that though the food looked appealing, but they weren't tasty.)
For me, I have no opinion(s). Hehe.

Anyway, I'd signed up for everything that I hope I am eligible for at SPH, and really look forward to a favorable reply. Though chances for me are low (There are a lot of talented young students attending the talk, some of whom are from local Universities), but I hope that I will be given an opportunity to turn my dream into reality!

I'm off to work on my projects now, will be uploading a looong entry soon about my Science Centre trip...I know its overdue! =p
