    LOL!
I was browsing in the Stomp webby when I spotted a humourous article, that comes together with this picture:

Title: Bus leaking during rain? No problem, we have got umbrella

HAHA. Imagine opening an umbrella in the bus! I would be laughing if I were there to witness it! The aunties are so cute! =P

P/S: Tomorrow have to go back to work again, even though its Saturday. Will be having a busy weekend this week. I suddenly lost the urge to go for the Sunday filming anymore. But I guess its too late to back out now... ... hmmm..

    Too fast... ...
Thanks to all the encouragement I received from my friends. I am feeling better now, and shall still TRY to endure for the rest of the remaining year (or days?)

I will be filming for a documentary show this coming Sunday, and I'm feeling extremely worried that I may not do a good job as I have a heavy role in it.
I was told that the other 2 actors are professionals, and that's a bit wee crazy for me as I'm still a noob.

The shooting location is a distance away from my house, and fortunately, its gonna be shot during the afternoon.

My role is supposed to be a mentally disturbed girl, and I think I myself am going to look mentally disturbed due to the overloaded work. =_="

I have a problem here now. I had agreed to go for a SUSHI BUFFET with my friends this coming Sunday, BUT it clashes with my filming date and time. Oh my goodness.

Si Ling! Shi Yun! Pei Wen! How? (I don't mind all of you coming to see me for the shoot though)

    ARGH
*Warning: Long pouring-out-of-feelings-post without pictures. Carry on reading if you are bored enough.*

The submission of my school projects have "officially" ended today.
And I am definitely not amused nor contented with what I had to hand in, because I got a non-submission record for something that I had done, just because I missed the submission time by 20 minutes!

Its not as though I can't submit on time, (in fact, I've even gotten my stuff ready to hand in) but I was oblivious that the lecturer was collecting them quietly at the back. Before that, I asked shrek if she had handed in, but she hadn't, so I waited... and waited till I missed the deadline time, and GOT THIS SICKENING "NON-SUBMISSION" thingy.

And my presentation thereafter did not go smoothly as well. Ayu (my group member) was quitting the course and yesterday was her last day in school. We had our last presentation with her, and we weren't in a good mood to begin with. Thus, the presentation went sort of bad, with our lecturers disappointed in us.

We were reprimanded by the lecturer about the lousy work we produced with the 15 weeks given. I heard him sigh, and ignored us as we dealt with other lecturers.

Our final product model was seen as a "Quick and dirty model" by the lecturer. Oh gosh.

Okay, maybe we deserve it as we did not put in enough effort, but we did spend quite an amount of money in the purchase of the materials. (In this course, how well can we do without money?)

During my secondary school days, I used to have this naive thinking:

"Aiya, can enter poly can already, don't care what course. No passion also can nurture one."

I wish someone could just knock me out of my senses and jerk me awake during that time. The truth hits me one day when I realised I couldn't quite cope well with the course I had got into. Passion can't be nurtured so easily as I thought. I know my real passion lies in other areas, but I just couldn't meet the requirement points for my O levels.

Seeing that all my classmates are coping well, I can't help but feel a tinge of disappointment in myself. Honestly, anyone can see that the work I produced look "forced", something which doesn't showcase my true ability at all. I really lack the passion to continue, and yet I yearn to get a diploma. I'm stuck nowhere in the middle, and will definitely feel lost if I were to face the fate of being "kicked" out by the lecturer next year.

I was on the verge of quitting my current course last year, as I always found myself in depression during one project. I cried of stress (which I seldom do), and even cried during showers. (Anyone who knows me well know that I do not usually cry over work due to my "heck-care" attitude) But it was over the limit during Year 1. Not only do I have to go through all the expense of getting the work done, but the stress of it. I discussed with my parents about the quitting of the course, and they respected my decision.

However, I could not get myself to quit. For all of my schooling years since young, I've never given up halfway in regard to education. On the other hand, I did not like the idea of having to make new friends all over again when I was already contented with the friends and classmates I already had.

Of course, I have got my lecturers to thank, too, as I was being given a pass grade (despite my low GPA) and promoted to Year 2. I got the lowest in class, but was glad that I was promoted still.

Now that I am in Year 2, I tried to give my best, but still failed to produce good results. Okay, I admit I have myself to blame. To be so lazy when everyone is working extremely hard. But I really don't quite enjoy the course pretty much without the passion.

Just like love, passion cannot be forced. Everyday, I feel like a souless creature, with only my body sitting in class, while my soul is somewhere else. My focus and concentration just isn't there, and yet I am stubborn enough not to quit the course despite the extent.

It's only a matter of time that my lecturer be kicking me out of the course, I need to think up of a backup plan-- now...

(Maybe I will be intending to take the O level examinations all over again to get better grades)

    omg
    OMG!
I was watching "Mr Bean The Animated Series", and enjoying every bit of it when suddenly, my phone rang. (Well, actually it did not exactly rang, but it vibrated as I had it on silent mode all the time.)

Person on the line: Hi, is that Miss Catherine?
    Me: Ahh Yes.
Person on the line: *unintelligible* I am calling from ****, and I had seen your profile...

    blah blah bah..

and I was chosen to act in their school's documentary film! (Oh no. It means I have to ACT again! )*still have not recovered from the previous "trauma"*

I'm feeling elated and nervous at the same time.
Elated because there's an opportunity coming by.
Nervous because I've never been in any acting stuff before.

Fortunately, filming is on 2 Sundays. (Its a lucky thing I do not have to work that day.)
    *Cross my fingers*
Hope the filming will be successful without them being disappointed in me!

P/S: I've checked out their lecturer's profile...She's an Europe ex actress and tv host before...(Oh noooo... What have I landed myself into? I just hope I won't make a fool out of myself.. Heh)

AND I HAVE LOADS OF ASSIGNMENTS TO HAND IN TOMORROW! I tell you, I HATE staying back at school until late at night!!
It seems like everyone is taking the studio as their 2nd home. FORTUNATELY, handing in assignments time is coming to an end soon!

    Wednesday, August 20, 2008
    Oh My...
    OMG!~
I can't believe that what happened today is a reality...
I hope I did not make a fool out of myself during the audition. It surely is a difficult task to act! (More like the drama I was auditioning for suits stage-plays better.)

I got there just in time, and one beautiful girl came forward, opening the locked door. She introduced herself, and I gave my name. (And she told me I look different from the photo! Haha)

Well, I was expecting that she will give me an interview or ask me to sing, etc, but I was stumped when she suddenly told me to "take a sit WHILE SHE GO AND TAKE THE SCRIPT FOR ME."

During that point of time, I almost blurted out "Script......??"

And yes, I was to act out accordingly after memorising the lines, which I had trouble.
Soon, a cameraman came in and shot the whole process of me in action. What's worse, I was asked to act natural.

Acting natural while feeling awkward! OMG!

I was to play a character whom was an emo-loner type. (that lady told me the role suits me. AHH!) And I had to be DRAMATIC when reciting a poetry. Its so hard to put the feelings right!

After everything had ended, I was told that I will be kept informed. (which I don't think I will) I always believe that "when a person say he/she will call you, it actually means bye-bye".

But nevertheless, its still a first and rare experience for me. I hope I will be able to get in, but honestly, I did not think that I perform quite well, as I'm a first timer at this!

    *prays hard*

    Cutie nephew!
My cutie nephew, Gordon, came to my house today, and LOOK at him! (Yes, he's holding my beloved teddy!) Oh, and not forgetting to state that he's a FAN of Mr Bean, too! (which makes me a proud aunt!)

Hey, wait... There isn't one teddy he's holding on... Its TWO! Notice the mini brown thingy (which looks kinda like chocolate) in his right hand? Its the smallest teddy from my "collection", which is supposed to be a handphone accessory. Cool, huh?

Yeah, one day I'm gonna snap a full "family shot" of my teddies, ranging from LARGE to SMALL...and SMALLEST! *howl with laughter*

I'm gonna go for a casting audition this coming Wednesday for a children drama! OMG! I hope I will be able to get in, despite me being such an inexperienced chap.

Got to go now, its raaainiingg! (I just love the plattering sound of rain...don't you?)

    Infuriating!
I believe everyone who has been in craze of the Olympics would've heard about the recent news of this young and pretty 9-year-old girl, Lin Miao Ke, and of course, the 7-year-old "backstage singer"- Yang Pei Yi.

A picture of Lin Miao Ke:

    Yang Pei Yi:

The recent news of Lin Miao Ke lip-synching (apparently leaving the real singer -Pei Yi, uncredited) during the opening of the Olympics was really shocking. If nobody had split the beans out, when will the truth come to light?

Personally, I feel that its a very DISCRIMINATING incident, especially the fact that they are only young kids. (When I was their age, I only knew how to play brick towers and speak gibberish =X)

What's this democracy against Pei Yi? It has been reportedly said that her looks are not good enough, and that's the reason of why Miao Ke was chosen for the performance instead - using Pei Yi's melodious singing voice for the opening ceremony.

Its saddening to see that poor Pei Yi was being given unfair treatment, in terms of outlook. I mean, what's wrong with her face? I feel that she has everything that fits the bill. Her voice, looks, etc. (She may not be as pretty as Miao Ke, but she's surely CUTER than her!) I certainly don't think she is ugly at all! Why does she have to do all the backstage work, and giving Miao Ke all the limelight which she does not totally deserve? Furthermore, isn't this considered a deceiving act?

To me, I feel that its the true ability that counts. No one is 100% perfect in this world, which is a reality that all of us have to face. In other words, everyone is worthy in their own strengths and abilities in one way or another.

Although its no denial that Miao Ke has what it takes, (in terms of looks and beauty) , but there's no reason to leave Pei Yi uncredited in the first place either. In anyway, I'm glad that Pei Yi's ability and talent has been acknowledged since the truth has came to light.

Remember Lin Miao Ke, but not forgetting Yang Pei Yi, too!

    Predictions?
Wow~ Did blogger.com just changed its template for the dashboard? I was struck by a sense of unfamiliarity when I went in.. (thinking that I probably had entered the wrong website. LoL)

Anyway, here's something which I had been thinking of blogging about it since a looong time ago. (In fact, I almost forgot about it.)

Does anyone know or heard of Mr Juseleeno - The amazing guy who can predict the forecoming disasters?

I did a research on him a few weeks ago, and found some interesting stuff:

Do read about him and his future predictions (creepy!) on this page:

    http://readingshouts.wordpress.com/2008/05/29/future-predictions-form-mr-juseleeno-who-knows/

Looks like Princess Diana's death, and even the 9/11 attacks, were predicted by him beforehand! (But of course, there is an extent to the credibility of the information found from the net. I don't believe in the "what you see is what you get" theory. ) Nonetheless, its worth a read.

After reading all of the researched information, I almost went paranoid, exclaiming to almost everyone I know : " OH NO! The 918 earthquake is coming! Its coming! OH NO! "

Okay, take it as I was a bit "over the top", but I can't help feeling this way... Remember the previous Sichuan major earthquake that took away lotsa young lives? It already caused the nation worldwide enough grief, and NO... Please, don't let 918 happen!

*pulls hair in a hectic manner*

Okay, I was just being paranoid again. But well... I really wonder why my recent posts are full of "disasters-like" stuff. I hope I din' bore anyone out though. :\

Anyway, back to my life. My own school life.

Believe it or not, I flunked my MM test today. Despite it being an online test, it was soo difficult! In fact, almost none of the questions that I had revised from the notes came out. Oh no, I hope I won't be retaining for the module.

    P/S: For 9/11 interested people,
    http://s1.zetaboards.com/LooseChangeForums/topic/478284/1/

Oops, sorry, I got caught up suddenly by 9/11 stuff again. Gotta go... I am reading a new book now. Enough of guesses, anyone alive will know what kind of book I'm reading. Hoho.

    HEY HEY!

Look what I found while I was surfing in STOMP!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoTqRQ29Od8

Thanks to the stomper who had submitted this video for sharing. Its really hilarious! (Something about Hitler complaining about the ERPs system in Singapore! LOL)

Oh yes, I wanted to share a book which I had read recently, in which I would highly recommend to everyone: (Hey, I seldom recommend books! So this should be a "Post of honor". (lol)

Yes, the book titled "Let's Roll!"
But before you start off thinking its just any other ordinary storybook that you've read, then you are wrong!
"Let's Roll" is based on a TRUE story recount by Lisa Beamer, the wife of Todd Beamer, whose husband was killed in the airplane (United 93) that crashed in the field during the 9/11 attacks.

When I first started reading the first few chapters, I could feel myself holding my breath. Yeah, its that intriguing!
I read about the life that Lisa and Todd Beamer had spent together and enjoyed in the past, their interests, their family, etc, all the way to the end of how Todd lost his life during the 9/11 attacks.

I was overwhelmed with mixed emotions as I read on, silently mourning for the loss of a great hero. Everything in this book is written in such specific detail(s) ! (There are even pictures of those happy times, which are kinda saddening.)
I got so engrossed that it became a difficult task for me to lay the book down, not even for a second.
(So you can picture me holding the book everywhere I go! which is TRUE!)

No matter if you are someone who has no interest in 9/11 or whatsoever, it's a book that will bound to grip your attention for hours.
    Read about it.
You will never know how much you will be missing~
(Its available in Singapore Poly's main library)

    Latest Update:
Okay, received some complaints from friends about 9/11, which I've blogged about recently. Hoho.

But great news. I've managed to borrow 3 books regarding it today, one of which is the "9/11 Commission Report". I guess it must've been one of the most "complete" books about the incident ever.

Nonetheless, I shan't blog about it today, as I have updates on the latest "topic" which some of my friends have been looking forward to.

Remember my few previous entries about the haughty lady from China?

Well, I've sourced all over the internet for her true identity (Okay, I know I'm too free), and here are the results. How true and reliable is it, I'm not sure.

So, who's the "mysterious" lady behind those sunglasses? Lets unreveil the mystery!

More information and details for chinese-readers can be found at:

    http://hi.baidu.com/ÀäÈ»º×Á¢/blog/item/496ba3ed67e1ded1b21cb11c.html

Real name: 孙静荀 (Sun Jing Xun)

Age: 28 (If she's really 28, then she is also considered the 80-90's category! Imagine that- pot calling a kettle black. HAHA.)

According to the details some kind soul had provided on the internet, "LAN DONG" is just an ordinary 28-year-old commoner, whom is working under WOYO (Its the company of her blog!) in China.
It was reported that its just one of the publicity stunts that the company had pulled, using her as a "boost" for the blogging company. (Well, I guess if that's the case, WOYO had indeed successfully reach its target.) In other words, she is just an online persona, a "fictional" character that the company has "created".

Although not sure how reliable the source is, LAN DONG was caught working for the company in a building at the 25th storey, in which she is commonly known as "Miss Sun".
Other evidences provided online are her matching I.P address with the company's, in which was later exposed.

There are more loopholes being noticed by sharp-eyed people, and yes, there's surely so much more behind this "wealthy and gorgeous" lady.

Ferrari car? Branded handbag? Branded shades? Living in private apartment?

    Her "said-to-be" real blog:

    http://blog.sina.com.cn/sunjingxun (Real Persona)

Wow, looks like she's into english songs too!

Alright, gotta go and study for my upcoming test tomorrow! (and of course, watching Rowan Atkinson's "Not the 9 O'clock News"! =X Oops)

    Finally...
I've been undergoing a "procrastination process" of updating an entry about something I've been in CRAZE for days - The attack of the World Trade Center (9/11) on 11th September 2001.

The towers in their glorious days.

Well, you must be thinking, "Hey, you're so outdated. This stuff happened so many years ago!"

My reply: "So what? It still hits me, and I feel as though its an incident of yesterday's."

(In fact, I even went to the library to search for a book, "Windows on the world", which was about a restaurant located at the 107th storey of the tower. Its really a pity that I do not- AND NEVER WILL- get a chance to enjoy the beautiful sceneries through the windows in the restaurant, which was said to have a good and majestic view of New York.)

A picture I found in wikipedia of the inner view of 'Windows on the world", before it was destroyed on 9/11.

Just look at that! I can almost imagine myself dining there with my families and friends, even though I've never been to there before. (which is really a pity) Just by looking at the picture, you'd be able to see that the scenery outside the windows were amazing! Fancy that- looking at the city on a whole... ...

If only it had not been destroyed during 9/11 .... ...

I've done tons of researches and such to get into depth about the attack these days, and I certainly did have great finds! I've never thought that there are so much more beyond it. The terror within that is way beyond our imagination.

I started off by going in depth of the World Trade Towers, and next to the airplanes that struck the buildings.

I know all these do not concern me, but I am just interested and curious to do a research on it. (Although it turns out that the MORE I research on it, the MORE I feel the heartwrenching pain.)

P/S: Has anyone watched this movie, titled "World Trade Center" before? Its the story of 2 brave survivors, and I'm glad that they made it through. (And btw, its a true story and recount of the real people.)

    Okay, back to topic.

The terrible incidents that followed on the actual 9/11:
2 planes hit the towers, 1 hit the Pentagon, and another missed its target, crashing into the field.

Believed to be "United 93", the plane that crashed onto the field before the passengers on the plane could take control of the airplane from the terrorists.

Well, I heard that there was a 5th plane "wannabe", and fortunately, nothing happened. That, I have not go into the details yet.

In fact, I'm more interested in the plane (United 93) which crashed into the field. Its the only plane in which the passengers tried to fight back at the terrorists by defending themselves. Its one of the mysteries of 9/11 as there are many sides of stories to it.

With that, I went on to watch 2 of 2006's released movies, "Flight 93", and "United 93". Both movies are highly recommended, and I can tell you that they're one of the best directed movies I've seen so far.

Movies "United 93" and "Flight 93", not to be mistaken for the same movie.

(The story plots of both movies are the same, only that the actors and actresses are different. Its up to your preference to watch which one, or rather, both.)

Here is the link to the playlist of the movie "United 93":

    http://6.cn/profile/playlist.php?p=67075

(I'd spent lots of time searching for this movie to watch online!!)

As for the other version, "Flight 93", it can be found in youtube by typing "Flight 93 Part 1"

Do catch those actors' and acrtresses convincing portrayal of their roles, especially those 4 young men who played terrorists in the movies.

Sadly enough, the movies are NOT based on fiction, but what was believed to have happened on the airplane which crashed into the field. In other words, both movies are based on the TRUE incidents. (The director had tried to make the movie as accurate to the real thing as possible after much of his tedious research.) The fate of the passengers, the hijackers, etc.
Deep in my heart, how I wish that this is only a fictional movie. *Sigh

United 93 (The actual airplane that crashed) left the deepest impression in me, as it was reportedly said to be the only airplane in which the passengers ganged up to fight back against the terrorists. Since that terrible day, they had became the heroes of many as they had actually prevented the terrorists from hitting their target. (meaning that they had saved the lives of many and the targeted building from crashing!) Just by reading from all the reports and watching the movie made my heart goes all out to them.

Ahh, I think I'm going a bit sidetrack.

    *Ahem*

Anyway, I believe there are still everyday discoveries on the 9/11 incident. In fact, I've researched so much on it that I'm confused by all the reports.

Many said that 9/11 was an inside job, and that the planes had never existed, etc. And worse of all, each has their own stand, so much so that it is difficult for me to distinguish between rumours from the real stuff.

Well, I'm now reading up on the terrorists. I'm actually starting to believe that those pictures I saw on the net are the actual terrorists that crashed the planes, but only to find out today that those pictures belong to several people who are still alive and well! They had reported that their identities had been stolen, and were aghast and outraged to see their pictures being published everywhere in the media that they are "terrorists".

See the pictures of all the terrorists behind the evil plot:

    Ahh, shan't elaborate further.
Look at these photographs, in which the two parrallel lights are being known as "Tribute in Light".
Yes, the two lights symbolise the 2 towers that fell on 9/11, and to commemorate the victims.

The lights are said to "penetrate" through the clouds and sky! And sometimes, birds will be seen at a moment, and gone next.

Can you feel the emptiness of the city without the towers?

When being observed at a closer view, one will see that the lights are made up of different 'lines', which looked just like the "phantom" version of the towers. Its saddening to see that the two ever-so-famous towers are gone, but I'm glad that people are moving well in their lives now.

Search and read more about it in wikipedia by typing "Tribute in Light".

P/S:This entry is not meant to add any insult to injury, or in anyway, open the wounds of affected readers. I wanted to blog about it because of the "laggy" overwhelming and mixed emotions I've got in me towards this unfortunate incident. I sincerely hope that there won't be any more of such terrorism events, and may peace be with you. (Gosh, I seem to be so affected, even though I'm not related in any way to it.)

F.I.R Concert! =D~ AND HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!
Just came back not long ago from F.I.R World Tour Concert with my beloved sister. (Thanks so much for the advanced birthday present!)

Its our first time experiencing the LIVELINESS of a concert, and yes, it was nice! =) Its not as bad as we expected it to be, lah.

My sis took some pictures from the concert, and I'm gonna post it up.

This photo was taken when we just came in. You can notice there ain't many people then as we reached quite early.

Our 2nd picture - More people, or FANS, coming in!

Ok, blurred, but still able-to-distinguish-who-is-it photo:

AND GUESS WHO CAME AS THE GUEST-OF HONOUR! Xiao Jing Teng! (Sorry, I don't know what's his english name is =X)

Yes, the sign "F.I.R" says it all.
There's actually a photo of me, but I find that I look kind of "inappropriate". Taking a nice photo of my face is really a difficult task these days. Hoho..
Its getting kinda late now, shall blog more tomorrow! Oh gosh, suddenly I just have too many topics to blog about that I'm getting all mixed up! 9/11 attack, prediction, etc etc.
And oh yes, last but not least, hope that my sis will have a safe trip tomorrow! Bon voyage, and do take care of yourself, okay? See you in about a week's time, and thanks for today!! =D HUGS and KISSES.
AND TO EVERYONE: A HAPPY 43rd NATIONAL DAY! I LOVE NATIONAL DAY! WOOHOO!

    Short update..
Haven't been updating lately. (Was procrastinating.)

Shrek and me had been actively involved in our school library's "LUCKY DIP", in conjuntion with the celebration of 50th Anniversary.
Haha, it was so fun, inserting your hand into the box and fishing out a ping-pong ball which has number on it.
Each number represents a different prize, or NO prize at all.

I tried it on Wednesday, got a bookmark as consolation for the first try, and BLUE MAX TEE SHIRT on my second try!! =D (My ping-pong ball's no is 14).

    It was shiok!

Although Shrek did not get anything on her first try, but lady luck was with her when I went with her today. She got a HELLO KITTY photo album. (haha)
I got a bookmark AGAIN, and 2nd time a Pilot post-it pen. (Ok la, better than nothing.)

Oh, and I will be updating a sad entry soon. Something so sad that its been bothering me for days ever since I chanced upon the DVD in the school library.
My close friends find me insane to still be talking about it right now.

Haha, its the 9/11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. I don't know exactly what has come over me, but I had been searching high and low all over the net for topics and subjects concerning this terrible incident. Yes, whatever stuff that concerns the WTC, I will be sure to rush forward and see it. I know I'm crazy, but I can't help it.

But my recent researches certainly do give me those answers I'm seeking for, and there are more to it than it meets the eye. Saddening, but I ain't gonna blog about it now, as I'm logging off.

The reason for me logging off?
    - I will be reading up a book on World Trade Center later. (Sorry, but thats how insane I suddenly am.) Talk to me about it and I will be sure to entertain you for hours. LOL.

    NDP Preview Pictures= Good Memories!
Wee~Thanks to Shrek for sending me the zipped folder! (Consisting of over 300+ photographs! How majestic! LOL) They spell BE-AU-TI-FUL! But hey, of course I am NOT posting each and every of them up. It will be exhuasting!

But nevertheless, some were taken from Shrek's blog as I am lazy to upload again. (Thanks Shrek ah! Haha =p)

(But please do note that these pictures I posted contain spoilers for the actual NDP!)
But I am sure you couldn't resist the temptation to see the photos, eh? Hee Hee!

Before going in, Shrek and I decided to take a photo of the entry ticket (blue sector) as momento:

And the back view of the ticket: (Okay, I know we're crazy, but its a picture worth taken, okay!)

BUT MAN, I couldn't get past the CUSTOM OFFICERS again. (If you'd been a follower of my blog, you will know about my chewing gum incident.) But fortunately, its nothing as serious this time. BUT MY MUM'S BAG WAS STOPPED AND CHECKED, a renactment of my horrible custom nightmare.=_= I guess I had since developed a phobia for custom checks now.

When were were inside; trying to find our seats:

One of the seats in front of me was splattered with "bird shit" :

We waited for like more than an hour for the show to start! (But there's an advantage of going early; as we had more seats to choose from.)

SOON, the show started, (5.15pm) with all the hosts standing on top of a small car, and waving!

One of the lovely lady hosts, wearing a pink "space suit":

And one of the male hosts, Adrain Pang. He was even singing on spot!

And Shrek told me something so hilarious that I was still laughing whenever I thought of it.

Shrek: Next time, I think the President will come down from the sky in parachute!

    And the NDP Preview begins...

They were so neat in their postures; almost everyone doing the same action like a mirror!

And look at this malay guy! (He somehow reminds me of my secondary school classmate, Hafiz. =_=) He was so super hyper-active that he practically jumped around, waving and singing in an exaggerated manner during the NDP Preview, especially during the singing session (Look, I am sorry if you are the guy in this photograph who is reading my blog now, but I do not have any ill intention. REALLY!)

Fancy some parachutes? Those guys certainly did a mervellous job! Hmm, don't they have any fear of heights? I would've fainted from shock if it were me! (Haha)

AND ONE MUST-BLOG STUFF: (Its something worth laughing. =X)

Now you see a majestic-looking white cars driving in.. OKAY, so the VIPs must've arrived!

And look who came out of the car!

Another white car came by after some time, and he WAVED! (The waving part makes the whole thing even FUNNIER!)

They aren't the real minsters, but... ....

SIMULATORS! -MUWAHAHAHAHAA! (But those guys must've felt good being "ministers" for the several NDP Previews.)

As this is a NDP Preview we were watching, they couldn't possibly hire the real ministers and such to attend. Thus, they got some stand-ins for them! I managed to capture a picture of the stand-ins in action. (Guy from left: Playing the role of "Mr Lee Kuan Yew". Guy from right: Playing the role of "Mr Goh Chok Tong".) But well, they do bear a bit of resemblace to the real deal, though. (AND THE WHOLE PROCESS WAS SO #(*$()#$ CUTE, especially when both guys playing Lee Kuan Yew and Lee Hsien Loong both waved at the audience! There was a laughter everywhere.)

Ok, watched some recap of the past: (A picture I took from the main screen)

Oh, by the way, that's a REAL Lee Kuan Yew in the picture. Not simulators! XD Haha.

Look!! The different colours of smoke in the sky!

Look at this heart-shape that the planes created! Isn't it amazing? Fancy drawing a picture in the sky! Haha.

And when the sky was turning dark, the red laser started to form on the "wire gates" beside the screen in the middle:

Balloon-like stuff floating: (Colourful at night as they lit up!)

    Random photographs of the performace:

The NDP cap that was provided in the goodie bag.

And this! Playing with the shadows, but total coolness!

And some statues MADE OUT OF CLOTH! (They can extend the height and shorten it.)

The water fountain that spouted water looked marvellous!

The performance was such a hit:

And here's something I know everyone is expecting:
FIREWORKS! (Weee!) Wonderful, marvellous, splendid! The atmosphere rose to the highest peak with those magical fireworks. It looked just like the sky is raining with beautiful lights! ROMANTIC!

One of the most brilliant fireworks that Shrek managed to capture in action:

There was even this blown-up gigantic merlion that changed colour! Its so cute that I hope I can give it a hug...(Well, obviously, its too large for my size.)
I used one of the pictures and set as my desktop wallpaper! No more Rowan Atkinson for the time being! Haha -X

There, the majestic merlion that could change colour! =D~

And lastly, the goodie bag and its contents:
(taken by Shrek. Thanks for the trouble!!)

See, the NDP cap even has lights when you switch on the little switch behind the flap!)

    The sponsors are so generous!

While heading out of the stadium, I happened to see Tricia with her *ahem* boyfriend. ( Caught red-handed!) =P~ It was such a coincidence! This means we have fate. Mmmmuacks.

Wow, I think I spent a LOT of time blogging this entry. So much that I had even neglected my poor stomach. I gotta go off for my dinner now! Hope everyone has enjoyed viewing the NDP pictures! I myself had enjoyed to the fullest that day, and I really hope that I will be able to get the tickets again next year! I'm yearning for more!!!

    LAST BUT NOT LEAST... ...

I LOVE SINGAPORE TO THE MAX! XOXO.
